Jasons POV:
I think that I have finally found a way to be happy and whole. Lana.
Up till I met her I had felt like I was missing something that I couldn't figure out. And I had tried everything that I could think of to fill it. I tried being the perfect son, a perfect student, everything.
So that is why I got on a plane from Paris to Smallville, Kansas to follow the girl that I love. And once I landed I took a cab to the Talon where I thought Lana might be staying since she owned the coffee shop.
As I walked in she was coming down the stairs from the apartment above. But stoped once she saw me.
"Jason? What are you doing here?" she asks me.
"Did you really think that I wouldn't come looking for you? I mean you left without even saying goodbye. All I got was a letter saying that you had some stuff to figure out so you where heading home." I replied.
"I just couldn't take saying goodbye to you. It was easier to leave and hope you would understand someday" she said as she continued down the stairs till she was in front of me, " So what are your plans now that your here?" she asks as she reaches up to place her arms around my shoulders slightly.
"Well I was thinking about transferring to Kansas University so that I can be closer to you. If you don't mind" I answered as I placed my hands on her hips.
"I don't mind. In fact if you want you can stay here with me if you don't want to live on campus." she said as she reached up to kiss me softly.
"I'd love to." I said kissing her back.
But what we didn't know is that in a few days time I would be getting the surprise of a lifetime. One that will not only shake my world to pieces, but that of my whole family. Or should I say families.
