"Melody over here!" I turned around to smile. "No over here!" I waited for the flash to go off and then turned around-again. I was at my first red carpet walk (My mother was a grade A actor) and I was loving the attention! When I was 3, my mum got me into modelling. My first job was with Guess babies and ever since then, I have been on countless magazine covers- Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Teen Vogue and so much more. So much has happened to me over the years and I guess I have just gotten used to being the centre of attention. "Melody!" I turned around, smiling for another camera but instead I saw my mother's smiling face. My mother is no different to me. She loves the attention too. I looked into her deep ocean blue eyes. She had shoulder length golden hair, sun kissed skin and beautiful red and plump lips. Everyone says I look like her, but the only difference is that I have chestnut brown hair. "Isn't this amazing!" My mother gushed. "Ms Carmiel, a photo with you and your daughter please?" A young photographer asked. I put on yet another fake smile.  As the flash went off, I caught someone out of the corner of my eye. He was toned and had hair as golden as the sun. He was beautiful. "Please excuse me." I said quickly. I turned away from the blinding flash of the cameras and half walked half jogged in my heels towards the boy. I caught up with him and put my hand on his shoulder. He turned around, and I was caught off guard by his deep emerald eyes and sharp jawline. "Can I help you?" He asked. I was so shocked. Usually if I went over to a boy, he would fall head over heels for me. I guess this one would just need to get little taste of me. "Hi. I'm Melody. You probably know me from the cover of Vogue? I'm a really big deal." I said as I twirled my hair and put on one of my modelling smiles. "Umm... no sorry." He replied the light gone out of his eyes. "What?!" I cried. "Sorry-I-ar-mean that's ok?" I said meekly. "I have to go." He said hurriedly, turning to walk away, but I grabbed his arm and spun him around. "Don't you feel something for me?" I whispered. "If you want me to, I don't fall for self-centred girls" he said coldly, turned on his heels and walked away. I just stood there, shocked.
