Heartbreak Girl (Michael's sister)

Chapter 5

*Brooke's P.O.V.

"Shit, I'm sorry.", Ashton said as he helped me up.

We looked at the doorway and there stood Michael.

"Irwin, my room now!", he barked and Ashton left.

"Michael, he tripped, don't be so hard on him.", I said and he nodded.

He walked out into the hallway and yelled to the downstairs, "Calum, come up to my room!"

I walked downstairs and Calum walked past and smiled.

"Good luck!", I jokingly said.

"Thanks, I'm gonna need it!", he smiled back.

I walked into the livingroom where Mia and Blake sat on opposite sides of the room. 

I sat down by Mia and Blake walked over and sat on my other side.

"So what happened?", Mia asked and I told her about everything up until I came into the room.

"Sounds like Ashton and Luke are crushing on you.", she said and wiggled her eyebrows.

"Shut up!", I yelled and she laughed.

"So do you like either of them?", she asked and Blake rolled his eyes.

"It's too early to tell.", I said and she nodded.

Blake scoffed and I turned to him.

"What?", I asked and crossed my arms.

"They're both too much of pretty boys.", he said.

"Oh really?!", I retorted.

"Yeah, I don't see how you could like either of them!"

"At least they're nice.", I spat.

"Nice? That's all you can think of?", he laughed. 

"I'm gonna leave now and let you two have some privacy.", Mia said and left.

"Well... well Luke is a great kisser, and Ashton's arms make me feel loved!"

"Loved? They don't love you like I do!", he screamed and I shrunk back.

"But you don't love me.", I said gently and his eyes softened.

"Brooke I would do anything for you.", he said and grabbed my hand.

"Blake, you know I only think of you as a friend."

"Why can't we be more than that?"

"I don't want to ruin our friendship."

"You don't get it.", he laughed. "So many people want to be with you, yet you push everyone away."

He dropped my hand and stood up, walking to the door.

"Wait.", I said and grabbed his arm, but he whipped around and slapped me across the face so hard, I flew into the wall before falling to the ground.

I grabbed my cheek and he gasped before stepping closer to me.

"Brooke, I'm so sorry.", he said and stepped closer.

Mia and Michael ran into the room and Mia ran straight for me.

Michael turned to Blake and yelled at him, "Get the hell out of our house!"

Blake ran and the boys all tumbled into the room.

I didn't even realize I was crying until I felt a tear roll down my arm.

Ashton and Luke started to run to me, but I stopped them.

"I need to be alone.", I said and ran to my room.

I closed and locked my door before collapsing onto my bed.

I laid in bed for about an hour before falling asleep.

*Michael's P.O.V. (When Calum finally went into his room)

"No one can date my sister. She's too good for any of you.", I said and Ashton giggled.

"Thanks Mikey! Means a lot to me!"

"No but seriously she's really too young and she isn't strong enough. I've been a horrible brother these past few years and I want to make it up to her. So, I was wondering if you guys would be ok if I asked he to jon us on tour?"

"Yes!", they all yelled and high-fived eachother.

We heard footsteps running up the stairs and Mia burst through the doorway.

"Michael, come quick. Brooke's having a fight with Blake and I'm afraid he might hurt her."

"Why would he hurt her?"

"Because, before we were all friends, Blake used to bully people."

My eyes widened and we heard a thump.

"Stay here!", I yelled to the boys and Mia and I bolted down the stairs and ran to the entry-way.

Brooke was on the ground clutching her cheek and Blake was inching towards her.

"Get the hell out of our house!", I yelled and the boys ran in.

Ashton and Luke started to run to Brooke, but she stopped them and said she wanted to be alone, before running upstairs.

"When can we ask her?", Luke asked.

"Obviously not tonight, but maybe tomorrow.", I said and they nodded.

"What are you guys talking about?", Mia asked.

"We were gonna ask Brooke to join us on the tour.", Ashton said and Mia smiled.

"She'd like that."

We all decided to go to bed, so we could all get up early and maybe ask Brooke.
