~~ Liam’s P.O.V ~~

We all decided to spend the night at Becca’s house, as tomorrow was a school day and we thought that it was better after the movie just to sleep here.

We were getting ready to watch the movie, Niall and Josh were cuddled up on one of the couches while Becca sat on a bean bag in the far corner near Zayn.

Louis and Harry were sitting on the couch next to Josh and Niall, but weren’t cuddling like they were. They were sort of talking in hushed voices and were extremely close.

And I sat furthest away from Zayn.

Zayn…

I… I just wish I could tell him how I feel. That’s why I’ve been ignoring him, because I know that if I look into his beautiful eyes again… I will end up doing something stupid.

“Hey Li! Could you and Zayn go get some snacks while I go grab some more blankets?” Becca asked looking at both of us. I gulped while Zayn nodded and jogged over to the kitchen while I followed shortly after.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a packet of microwave popcorn and shoved it in, while Zayn grabbed a few packets of Pod’s and other sweets and put them into bowls quietly.

The popcorn was almost finished after a bout a minute of deafening silence. I really don’t understand how silence can be both deafening and awkward, but some how this one was.

“Okay Liam, I’m sick of this!” A voice snapped from behind me, causing me to turn around. “Why have you been avoiding me Liam?! Did I do something wrong?! I just don’t understand Liam! You don’t understand just how much you mean to me and I just…. I can’t handle you being mad at me…” He trailed off and I could see tears brimming his eyes.

“Z-Zayn… You haven’t done anything wrong… I was just –“

“Just what Liam?! You know I thought you were different, which is honestly why I have been in love with you for all these –“ My eyes widened as I looked at Zayn startled. He paled realizing what he said and I could see a few tears making their way down his cheeks.

“Oh God man I… I didn’t mean that you know what? Just forget everything! Yeah just forget everything I just said and –“ I cut him off by pressing my lips to his softly. I felt him tense in shock, but then relax and begin to kiss me back.

I felt his tongue grazing across my lower lip softly, asking for entrance which I didn’t allow as I pulled away slowly, resting my forehead against his.
