Chapter 3

"How was school Gracie?"
I fake smiled at my mom, and slowly walked upstairs.
"It was... just amazing, mother."
When i got upstairs, i closed my door, and lay down, staring at my ceiling.
How could someone as cute as him, be so mean and rude? I know it was only my first day, but I'd at least like to be friends with the guy. I finally fell asleep, until i woke up at 12:17 in the morning, because my phone was ringing. It was an unknown numver, but i answered it anyway. Thw voice was familiar.
"Hello there? I want a double pizza, and a peperoni burger."
"Josh?"
"How you know my name, Pizza Hut you're... oh you're majic."
Josh, no. It's Gracie. Are you om? And how did you get my number? "
"Haha. I don't know a Pizza Hut named Gracie. I found it on your bag earlier."
"You sound very drunk, I'm gonna hang up now."
"Oh hey, no no no. I need friends to talk to. You're my only friend, Marrietta."
"Marri- you know what? Just never mind."
I hung up, and went back to sleep.
The next day Josh didn't really say anything to me. I fogured he was just extremely hung over. So at lunch, I decided to sit next to him.
"Hey jerk, how ya doing?"
He looked up from the table, with an evil look. He looked really tired.
"What so you want, newbie."
"You called last night."
"I'm aware."
"Were you drunk?"
"Very."
I looked closely. His eyes were bloodshot, and there was a little bit of pain that was trying not to show.
"Um, where were you last night when you called?"
"Why does it matter? Stay out if my personal life newbie."
"I'm sorry."
He got up and walked away, leaving me sitting alone. Until the same girl that let me have her seat in science, came and sat next to me.
"He really is a huge jerk. He doesn't really get alone with any girls except his girlfriend"
That word made a rush of jealousy go through my heart.
"Girlfriend?"
"Yeah she's the popular girl. Her names Bellateix but everyone calls her Bella."
"Oh."
"You sound kinda sad? Are you ok?"
"I'm fine."
"Ok. Well my names Jordan. If you need anything, just come to me."
She walked away, leaving me alone for the rest of lunch.
