Kayla's POV

My alarm rang at 5:00 am. I still wanted to stay in bed. I chose a blue dress and a pair of sneakers and started to fix up. At around 5:30 I was done with everything. I was even able to blowdry and put a little bit of make-up. I usually do that while I am in the car. I was surprised at how fast I moved for school. I went straight down to the dining table and saw that my mom was cooking.

"Oww Kayla! You frightened me. You're done early. Anything to do at school?"

"You aren't the only one shocked Mom. No, I don't have school activities yet. Why do you ask?"

"Nothing"

I ate. At around 6:00 I was ready to go. I still haven't told my mom about my lost card and she didn't say anything so I guess she has no clue. As I go out of the gate I see a car blocking my driveway an Audi R8 coupe. I knocked at the window and as it rolled down I saw him. It's Jericho? Why is he even here? Does it mean that he was genuinely asking me to come to school with me? He didn't say a word but he just went out of the car and opened the door for me. This car is the exact car I was asking dad to get me for my birthday. This is so beautiful! 

"Goodmorning Princess Kayla." He said with a big smile on his face

"Ohh! Jericho why are you here? Do you live nearby?"

"I asked you last night if I can pick you up and I haven't told you yet but I don't take no for an answer. I actually live far from here around an hour's drive from here. The ride with you the last time was fun and I want a do-over."

"Why pick me up then? You could just go straight to school less hassle for you. I am just really not in the mood because I have a really big problem rn."

"And that problem is?"

"I lost my card yesterday and it has a load of cash in it. I haven't told my mom about it 'cause she would kill me." I blurted out my problem like I know this person for the longest time.

"Yikes! How much was in it If you don't mind me asking. I can help you find it."

"Around 600 thousand but I have savings in there around 400." 

"1Million in total? For how many months' spending is this?  Do you buy luxury items every time?" He looked at me with round eyes and seemed very flabergasted.

"It's actually only for a week only. 600 isn't that big you know? I am a great spender, sorry. Now I don't have even a cent for paying anything so I can just call it a diet for a week then."

"I can't blame you. Spending is a really nice feeling, ain't it? How about this. I'll pay for all your expenses this week if you're down to get to know each other better."

If you think I agreed to his offer I really didn't. It's too risky I don't know If he has any bad intentions after I say yes. He doesn't say a word but instead, he started driving and looked me straight in the eye and said "You have no choice. Again I don't take no for an answer." His voice sent shivers down my spine it wasn't something I didn't expect him to say that to me. I immediately locked eyes on the road and shut my mouth out of shock. I thought to myself maybe I should just go with the flow It's free and what could possibly go wrong. He drove fast that all I could hear was the smooth sound of the engine. I suddenly felt excited about the gift my dad would give me on my birthday. Imagine the same car like this. 

"Mister J--" He pulled the car over and I wasn't able to finish what I was saying when he placed his lips on mine. His soft lips rested on my lips. I didn't push back heck I didn't know what to do. He leaned into my ear and whispered: "That is the meaning of or else, Princess." I remained silent for a few minutes shocked at what he had just done. My first kiss. It's gone. I was going to reserve that to my first boyfriends but It's all gone now.

"Hey! Why would you do that? That was my first. You took it away from me Mister Je--"

"I know Princess. One more  time you call me that and I'll go the distance."

With what he said my whole face turned red and I started to sweat so much. I knew the a/c in this car was on but it really felt different after he said that. I was disappointed in myself not only did I lose my card but also one of my firsts. My initial thought was to let the ground just swallow me whole. I remained silent on the whole trip to school.

We arrived at school premises and I wore my headphones to avoid any conversation with him. I don't want to hear him or anything he says.

"Princess. Remember lunch."

I'd rather die of hunger than go with him. I arrived at my room and I noticed that there weren't many people yet. I decided to sleep and when I woke up I panicked because I woke up at 11 am which means I slept throughout my entire 2 class including my AM break. This is indeed a bad day.  Walking out of the room was the sneakiest thing I've done in a while. This is because I woke up too early. Why did I even do that? Was I excited to see him? Scratch that of course I wasn't I just met him. I wouldn't care about him after what he did this morning. 

As I came out of the room I noticed a bunch of people gathering around in the school field. I checked it out because maybe there is a game going on. I got on one of the bleachers and saw the basketball varsity team singing on stage. I didn't know they were in a band. Everybody started cheering and yelling out their names. I felt like I was in a basketball game with all the people screaming and idolizing on each player. Hearing his voice made me smile and it amazed me so much. He was the lead vocalist and the most appealing of all the varsity players. Then again I am so annoyed for what he did to me. 

"I would like to call Kayla from the crowd. I have a feeling she is here in the crowd. Kayla!"
