Chapter 3: New Girl

"Yawn...", Adreanna woke up still half asleep. She walked to the bathroom to get a quick washup before heading to the living room.

"Good morning Anna", Mr. Smith said without looking at her.

He was busy cleaning, stacking up the books and newspapers and then arranging them in an orderly manner on the shelfs.

"What are you doing?"

"My friends will be coming over today, so I'm trying to keep our house as clean as possible, After all who wants to show off how dirty their houses are right?...... but that doesn't matter for now....now, go and get ready, we are going to school earlier than normal", he explained.

Adreanna made her way back to her room to get everything ready. After she was ready to go, she ran to her father and they went off.

She reached school about an hour earlier than usual but to her surprise, she saw Alicia already there with a group of people. She couldn't really see who Alicia was with as they stood quite far away. Alicia didn't quite see her as she was busy talking, more like "planning", something with her 'friends'.

An hour passed by real quick; Adreanna spent her time reading her storybook that she brought to school that day.

Time for assembly came and finished. They headed for class after taking everything they needed from their lockers. Adreanna went to class all by herself as Alicia chose to go with the class's most popular girl, Mincy, on that day.

"Class, stand up!", their form teacher said as he entered.

"Good Morning, sir!" , they addressed him before they were instructed to take their seats.

"Your english teacher is not feeling well today, I believe that every one of you will take responsibilty to keep quiet and do your own work for the whole of her period. I don't want any chaos or incidents to happen in this class ANYMORE!!"

Adreanna's class was known as the worst class in school. It is a danger to be in there unless you are either popular or smart. Adreanna was lucky to be pretty and a genius..... excluding history, of course.

He then left and they were left to themselves. The first few minutes went just fine but then the class bullies started picking on those who had a lower 'rank' than them. Soon, the class became all noisy.

Unknown to them, the discipline master was walking around, making sure everyone was disciplined.

He heard all the shoutings and bangings from their class, that he decided to peek through the eindow before entering. He saw every move the bullies mad. He stomped into the room and this mad everyone turn in shock.

"What's all this??", he scolded.

"Cole, Nick, Alex and Max, meet me at my office NOW!!!" , he called bullies.

They followed him and for the first time, they were scared because he told them their parents were to be called and informed. They may be tough on the outside but they were as scared as a baby of their parents in the inside.

Time passed and soon it was mathematics. Mr. Brown, their mathematics teacher entered with an unfamiliar person. After exchanging greetings, he introduced the girl to them.

"Class, this is our newcomer, Kristel White. She just moved here a couple of days ago. I hope everyone will give her a warm welcome. ".

Kristel just rolled her eyes. She looked like a total badass. Some looked as if they were scared of her while others stared at her as if she was a spirit.

"Kristel will sit beside Adreanna Smith", Mr.Brown said.

Adreanna raised her hand high so that Kristel knows where she was. Alicia looked over and mumbled some things before turning back.
