Chapter 4: A Kunoichi??

"Good bye....Dad..", Adreanna said.

As she hugged her father, tears began to stream down her cheeks.

Mr. Smith wiped her cheeks and assured her that he will be fine. Mr. Smith together with his two other friends, Mr. Rogers and Mr. Woods, were told to finish their task by their manager, at Canada.

She gave him a last look before he entered the departure hall. She decided to head back home but the moment she turned, she came face to face with Alicia.

"What are you doing here?", Adreanna asked, not liking what was happening.

"I followed you coz i knew you'll need a shoulder to cry on after your father leaves...Admit it!".

Adreanna didn't bother to hear anything more from Alicia. She banged her shoulder with Alicia's then walked away with her hands in her hoodie's pocket.

Adreanna smirked as she was heading back home.

It started raining heavily the moment Adreanna passed by a bus stop. It was expected; raindrops were already dropping from the clouds. She had to turn back to the bust stop to get shelter. While she sat, bored, nothing to do but stare at the rain fiercely hitting the ground, she was knocked on her head by something- it seemed like a person's fist, and passed out.

"Arghh...where am i?", Adreanna said as she opened her eyes, confused.

Her head was pounding so fiercely that she felt very dizzy.

"Looks like someone's already awake...", she heard as the mysterious voice said.

"Who's there?"

The lights brightened the dark room and the first thing she saw was a very generic looking human. Soon, she realised that she was surrounded by very familiar faces.

"I've seen these faces before...", she thought.

The moment that thought popped into her mind, she remembered manequinns that usually stands on window displays in shopping malls at clothing stores. She knew at that moment that these beings could not be real. Immediately she pushed the thought away as soon as it came. She grabbed her tessen from the casing and aimed it at one of the manequinn-like figure. It flew further from where she aimed but when the tessen found its mark and hit right at the head, she saw a very black thick liquid started to ooze and dripped out of the wound and in a few seconds after a dead silence in the room, the manequinn-like figure exploded causing the room to be covered with the thick liquid.

"Ha! I knew these things were fake!" Adreanna grinned.

With confidence, she took down as much clone as she got to but what disappointed her the most was the failure to take down the three leaders.

"Think you are done with us?", the unknown man asked calmly as if nothing happened.

She aimed her tessen at that man but he caught it without even looking at it approaching- like a professional.

"What do you want from me?", she asked him calmly, trying to act cool.

"Nothing much but I believe this belongs to you?", he said as he dragged a boy who looked about the age of 13 and he looked very familiar to Adreanna. She forced herself to remember the person but even how hard she tried, she couldn't.

The boy stared at her with cold eyes.

"Don't remember him, huh?", the man asked in his low voice.

It wasn't that she had forgotten him but she simply couldn't remember him that easily.

"Adreanna...",she heard her name being called softly.

As soon as she heard that voice, she remembered everything she had to about him.

"Anthony.... ", she called out to him softly while the men were recovering from the bruises that Adreanna gave them with the bunch shurikens she threw at them.

He turned swiftly and smiled at her as she approached him.

" I never did forget you -"

"-I know, sister", she heard his voice, trembling.

" I never did forget you and never wanted or wished to....I just don't know how I can't remember you as fast....you were kindda simply...erased from my memory ", she said.

Anthony couldn't hold back his tears anymore - it started streaming down his cheeks. For the first time he wasn't embarassed of crying. He's just like his sister, who rarely cries. Anthony was a guy who is (acts) like a badass. He pulled his sister into a hug.

Suddenly, Adreanna was kicked on the head.

"Adrean-", that was the last thing she heard before conciousness left her.

" Plup....plup...plup..... "

" Uggh "

Adreanna woke up to the sound of something dripping onto the floor. She opened her heavy eyelids and saw the beautiful night sky. She turned her head and saw puddles of water but she felt like something was missing.

" ANTHONY!!! ", she shouted as soon as she realised.

There was no response.

" I cant believe I got separated from him again only after just meeting him again 3 years later...", she said as she tried to hold back her tears.

She stood up and balanced herself. She looked around and realised that she was on a rooftop.

" Why would they bring me here, out of anywhere else?", she questioned herself.

She felt very uncomfortable and she turned around to find more clones surrounding her.

" Looks like this is not over yet....take THIS!! ", she said as she ran towards them and took them down one by one , also unknown to her, for every clone she defeated, another will appear to take its place.

" Someone's having fun without me? How inequitable.....Hiyaa!! "

" Kristel?", Adreanna turned as the person whom the familiar voice belonged to jumped into the fray.

Kristel took out her jujiken, her weapon of choice, and slashed through every clone that came in her way. Shurikens that belonged to her always found its mark.

"Wow... " , Adreanna said out in astonishment.

" RUN! ", Kristel ordered.

"But what about y- "

" -I can take care of myself, JUST RUN AND TALK NO MORE!! ", she commanded once more.

Adreanna watched as her new friend went on fighting busily. She couldn't do anything even though she wished she could but to Adreanna, by the look of Kristel's style of fighting, Adreanna believed she could actually take care of herself. She walked away with the final glance of the scene that was happening.
