Chapter Twenty two

"How did this even happen?" Asher asked while I was on the phone with him. It was late the next day when he finally called after seeing the post.

"I don't know." I turn the page on the book I was reading. Asher has been yelling threw the phone for a good twenty minutes now and I zoned out a little.

"At lest they don't know it's you." He sighed.

"Yup..." I trailed off.

"Are you even listening anymore?"

"Nope..." I turned the page again.

"Listen Crazy cat!" I groan and close my book.

"Look I had two days to let this idea sit in my head. No one knows it's me, Melissa might figure it out but the chances of that happening are pretty low. Even if they find out, I'm not leaving my house anytime soon. So stop worrying so much." He goes silent for a little bit.

"You're right it's not that big of a deal. How's everything with your dad going?" He asked.

"It's fine. What about you? How's everything going?"

"Same as usual. Except the guys are all mocking me for that post." I laughed a little. He laughed too but it was short. "So, what about your piano how's that?" He asked.

"Uh..." I thought about how close graduation was coming and I knew I would have to tell him about my college opportunities soon. But would now be the best time? "Same as usual."

"You talking to your girlfriend Jayfire?" I hear in the background.

"Shove off!" Asher yelled.

"Come on! Who's the girl?"

"Get off Branders!" Asher yelled. "Give the phone back!" I hear Asher now in the background.

"Hey Asher's new girl! What's your name?" I stayed quite. "I know your still on the phone! Is Asher a good kisser?"

"Guys leave her alone!" I laugh a little just thinking about Asher casing his friends for the phone.

"That's an adorable laugh! You must be so cute!" The guy says over the phone like I'm some kind of puppy! I roll my eyes and I here a lot of muffled movements. I had to guess that Asher had probably caught up and tackled his friend.

"Give the phone back!"

"But she's about to say something!"

"Just hang up the phone babe!" I hear Asher yell.

"I'm good, this is pretty entertaining!"

"She speaks!" I hear more muffled movements and somethings that sounded like running.

"I got the phone Crazy cat."

"I was bored before but that was pretty funny!Who was that?"

"Jason Branders." Asher groans.

"Tell him I highly enjoyed hearing that play out!" I laugh.

"Okay I got to go before he catches up. Love you bye." He hung up before I could say anything.

"Bye..." I sigh. I put my phone on the charger and walk around my house. I go to the fridge to see if there's any new food that magically appeared. Sadly there was nothing.

Now that it's summer all I do is lay around the house being lazy. I'll get calls from Asher and the twins but other then that nothing exciting ever happens.

    After I had convinced myself there was no food for me to eat I walk back to my room and go to sleep.
