I didn't have school Wednesday,Thursday,or Friday and here's why.So I got home on Tuesday for about an hour or so until my phone gave me a tornado warning and I'm sorry for the language but I went "SHIT!!!".I was sure I was going to die.My mom wasn't home so I went to my grandma crying my eyes out because their was a tornado.She said "A tornado warning means it might happen."in which I responded with "That's a watch.A warning means it is currently happening."She still didn't care.We went to the basement I was crying and shaking while my grandma and my sister were playing hangman.My group chat with my friends was blowing up and I talked to them the entire time.Two were driving home and two were in their basements.One said trees in their yard were falling down.My tress were fine so I was shook.I thought for sure i was going to die or at least lose my house.None of that happened.Afterwards I texted my friends and family to see if they were alright.My mom stayed at work but my dad decided to go out in it to check on his new boat (check the boat after the storm dad!).He was about a mile away from it and he even got a picture.That picture has me shook.That thing was huge.I'm surprised it wasn't the tornado itself didn't kill people.All five people that were killed were killed by trees.NONE OF THE TREES IN MY YARDS ARE DOWN.My dad has woods in his yard and nothing!I prayed that no one would die but I guess I can't have everything.The power went out the next day and I was dying.On Friday I asked my friend why we still had off since the power had been on for two days and the school should be up and running.Then I found out the roof and our gym literally fell in and the gym flooded.I left the school an hour before and if I was still there we probably would have gone to the gym since it has no windows and I would have been screwed so I feel blessed.Special thanks to my science teacher for
