I Love You

There came a time
Since when I described you, to my soul, as mine.
Since when I started looking at myself with so much pity
for not having any chance with such  beauty.
But since then I still hold
a little bit of hope
though that is one of my guilt,
I love how that time came
when I pronounced you the queen to this castle I have built.

There came a time
Since when the answer to all my questions became your smile.
Since when I started thanking the cool breeze
which made you close your eyes and made my time freeze.
Since when I started wishing to skies
to give me more time to look into your eyes.
Since when my day started ending with thoughts of you
and the next morning,
I started loving the tastes you have been loving too.

I thank God to bring me that time
since when I started keeping a favourite numbered sky.
Since when I wanted to kneel down
keeping my soul touched to the ground,
if I had a tail, I will keep it waving all around
and say to you,
"I love you."
in many different languages,
freeing the birds out of all my cages.
But it will not be embarrassing, I swear.
I will not make any sound.

There will come a time
when I will stop calling you mine.
You will be somebody else's and I will be in pain,
but when that time comes,
you will have to forgive me,
for I will leave what is meant for me
and come to you once again.
