Losing People

You feel it slipping through your fingers.
You feel it in your heart, and you know
you don't want to let him go.

You read in your heart, your prayers.
With the finest farewell you fall back
while inside you're full of screams.

Doesn't matter the fact that you're not his daughter.
One lie that you're not scared,
and you are his son with no fears.

But You fear losing people.
You fear, so you want to grieve.
But, "grief of losing people temporarily
does not come to a son."
What you have been taught till now;
Misconceptions to manlihood,
that you have falsely understood.
