The next morning, papyrus sat up and grumbled. He didn't remember falling asleep on the couch, but knowing how late it was last night he wrote it off from tiredness, sitting up before walking to the box and looking in.

The box was still full with five eggs, though one seemed to have begun splitting open. Papyrus quickly picked up the small egg and sat them on a towel. Pulling up a chair, he sat there, smiled, and observed as the small creature made there own way out. There to give it support and warmth if it decided to just stop or give up.

Occasionally, papyrus actually got Inpatient and gave the egg a light tap, and it honestly seemed to work with getting them to wiggle around, sticking a little tail out of the egg as they slowly made there way out, curling into a small ball and making click sounds.

Papyrus sat there, the lamina was just so small and fragile. part skeleton, there bones thin but they looked a lot like his brother, and part snake, there tail made of magic, healthy and a deep blue thin tail of thick magic, papyrus chuckled and picked the small one up, holding into them as they chirped and leaned into his body heat, making small noises. They seemed hungry.

He had noticed and stood up, he knew they were hungry but he didn't know what to feed them when they were so small. Did they eat actual magic or the processed liquid magic most drank?

After a while of thinking, rutting his brain of witch one they'd drink, he got out his medicine syringe and filled it to two millilitres of honey. something he had on hand, but only one bottle left. Willing to make the sacrifice for the ball of adorable ness he decided to raise alone, and more to come. Bringing the syringe closer, the little one sensed the food and squirmed to the syringe, suckling at it the moment he managed i find the source.

Him being only four inches from head to tail tip, he only needed twenty millilitres before he was happily full and asleep on papyrus' chest. Leaving him to chuckle and mumble "cute lil' classic"
