It hurt. It really hurt. He couldn't open his eye socket, All he remembered was him going up to his new brother. Now here he was. Drowsy and in pain in the orange 'things' hands! It was going to squeeze him again, he just knew it! Sealing his working eye socket shut as he retreated into a ball. He waited for whatever the giant wanted, too scared to fight back.

Though what he did feel was warm magic surround him, not touch him but only keep him warm. He could sense it, there was food near by, beginning to struggle only to find it came to him.

Papyrus brought the syringe to edge realising he was hungry, scared something would happen if he took him out. He had put red in an empty tissue box with a smaller, spare heat pack under it. Edge had only been asleep for a half an hour, but in that time sans had drank a proper forty millilitres and papyrus had found the new hatchlings weakness, stuffed animals.

With sans resting in the palm of his hand properly fed.
