Deceit sighed happily as she got out of the bath, quickly approaching the towel as she wrapped it around herself, she said nothing and lightly bit down on her lip, looking at her left shoulder which her metal arm was attached to. Luckily, it was waterproof.
"God I missed how the warm water of a nice bath felt..." She mumbled, her voice was calm and mysterious yet oddly coaxing, almost manipulative. Almost.
She looked around the bathroom, trying to find her clothes, only to glare when she noticed that instead of her armor and cloak was the uniform for the tavern. Biting her lower lip roughly and drawing blood, she hesitantly picked up the shirt and put it on.
She winced when she tried to close the button that was over her chest, sighing a small red aura surrounded where her breasts were and they shrunk a, size, going from Double D cup to just a regular D cup. Sighing in relief as the shirt finally fit, she then proceeded to tie the blue cravat.
Her green eyes caught sight of the tiny miniskirt and she sighed in distaste before slowly wriggling into the skirt with much distaste. After putting on her black panties of course.
Unsurely, Deceit slowly let her caramel brown hair cascade down her back elegantly yet simply, brown locks framing her soft pale face. Then, she slowly began to walk down the stairs of the boar hut.I'm not one of them.
I don't belong here.
They don't care. Those torturous and cold thoughts echoed through her mind, gently, she bit down on her lower lip again, creating a cut. Blood trickled out of it before instantly healing itself. She sighed at the numbness coursing through her body. She hated it.
It sounded insane, it truly did, but what Deceit wouldn't do to be able to feel pain was very little. She never felt much pain growing up, the only time she did was when she was around six years old, and that pained killed her. Literally.
It was when she lost her arm, she couldn't remember the events of what had happened. Her childhood was incredibly blurry to her, but then again, that was a few millennia ago and people tend to forget things over time.
Distracted by her own thoughts, Deceit failed to realize the fact that she had just walked into King. "Ow..." She mumbled softly before looking away from him. King's cheeks went dark red as he mumbled apology after apology.
Deceit smiled.
"Harlequin, it's fine." Deceit spoke in a soothing yet quiet voice, she gave another smile to him. King shyly nodded and took his pillow before quickly flying off afterwards.
"Oi! Deceit!" Ban yelled before giving an impish sort of grin, the said woman couldn't help but to sigh as she approached the talk blue haired man.
"Looking as nice as always, Deceit." Meliodas complimented, suddenly appearing and pressing his head in between her large chest, Deceit sighed and nodded at Ban who suddenly collided his fist with Meliodas' cheek, sending him flying back.
"Thanks, Ban..." Deceit spoke with a soft yet weak smile not that long afterwards. Ban simply nodded before helping Meliodas up onto his feet. As the two men happily chattered, Deceit sighed and walked to the bar, she got out a few classes before leaning up to try she grab the bottle of ale. Damn my height! Deceit internally cursed before heaving a heavy sigh, she could hear Meliodas snicker in the background."I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY, YOU TINY LITTLE BLOND HAIRED ANT WHO CAN BARLEY EVEN LOOK OVER THE COUNTER WITHOUT A CHAIR!!!" Deceit roared in annoyance, now it was Ban's turn to laugh and snicker at Meliodas.
"I've got it, Dec!" Diane said as she reached her giant hand through the open window, she picked Deceit up and allowed her to grab the bottles of ale. Deceit mumbled a small word of thanks before Diane lowered her to the ground.
Deceit hummed and poured a few mugs of ale, which bubbled slightly at the top of the wooden mugs. She hummed and began to get ready for the bar to open up later.
"She doesn't even have to be told to help!"
"It's perfect!"
"Captain, she'd make a good innocent type. If my calculations are correct, men these days love more feminine and curvy figures that are innocent!"
"But I'm curvy and innocent!"
"Diane. No."
Deceit sighed and rolled her eyes before suddenly pouring a mug of ale over Ban and Meliodas. "I'M NOT BEING ONE OF YOUR APPEALS, IDIOT."
Soon enough, an argument began to uprise between the blond haired man and the brunette woman. It would've been amusing if they weren't so angry. This was a new side to Meliodas, at least for Elizabeth that is. Most have seen the Captain annoyed or even pissed off to no end, but Elizabeth hasn't.
All Elizabeth knows is that Deceit is a strange human girl, with a strange name. Perhaps she's a prankster or lies a lot, Elizabeth figured almost matter-of-factly. It explained the name Deceit, did it not? Or maybe it was a stage name or an alias of some sort, again, that seemed like-wise as well. Little did Elizabeth know that that was almost exactly the truth, not quite the complete truth, but almost. However, the more Elizabeth thought about it, the more the pains in her head.
As Elizabeth began to grow fatigued and exhausted, everyone adverted their gaze from one another and put their attention on her. Deceit walked over to the princess and raised a hand, as if going to pat her head softly, but instead her hand slammed down on Elizabeth's pressure point, knocking the Princess out with little to no difficultly.
"What was that for?" Meliodas asked, almost accusingly, the woman sighed and glanced at Gowther before nodding once. The pink haired male nodded as his glasses gleamed.
"Well due to the dilation in Elizabeth's eyes, it leads to the likely conclusion that she might have been concussed or in immense pain, so Deceit here, took it into her own hands to knock Elizabeth out." Gowther explained, his voice monotone and his expression stoic, he spoke matter-of-factly.
Meliodas' eyes softened slightly as he sighed before nodding in understanding. "I see," he murmured with a soft sigh afterwards.
Deceit pursed her lips as she carried Elizabeth up into one of the spare rooms, there was an unexplainable aura of tension towards the shape shifter and the young teal haired princess, and the woman, it was more of like Deceit was burning holes into Elizabeth's soul with her deadly glare. Naturally, conscious or not, that'd create some form of tension, would it not?
As the shape-shifter laid Princess Elizabeth down on her bed, she got up and turned her back, getting ready to leave. She froze, feeling a soft hand tug at had metal arm, the only reason she felt it was because she felt it tug at her left shoulder.
"Stop." Deceit spoke, seeing the sleeping princess continue to tug at her arm, she tried to pull it away from; but alas she failed.
Deceit's brow twitched but she let herself lay down besides the young teal haired princess, she remained silent however.*
Meanwhile, Ban was sitting outside as he looked at the late afternoon sun; he quickly tore his gaze away.
He's always known Deceit, they were cell mates for a while - it was a subject he didn't want to talk about. Most people only know of Elaine, Ban's late lover (also King's younger sister.) But there was another who died. Another who was very close to him.
Her name, was lost to time.He couldn't remember her name, in fact he was sure she never told him it. But he knew that she was a kind and sweet girl, her hair was a caramel colour and her eyes were turquoise.
He didn't know her for long, only a year or two; but he did know that she was no longer alive.
The girl had died when she was around six or seven years old, it was an accident that resulted in too much blood loss. He was devastated when he heard about it. He was only nine at the time.
Another thing that he knew, was that the girl came from an incredibly wealthy family, he was surprised when he found that out as she was such a generous and charity person; always willing to help out.
She even gave Ban some money and gifts occasionally, she often cooked as well. The immortal male didn't realize that he was crying softly, with one hand clasped over his mouth as tears streamed down softly, his normal wolfish grin wasn't on his face as he cried softly, he was glad no one else was with him; soon, his vision went blurry and then black.
"Are you, are you; coming to the tree?"
"They strung up a man, they say who murdered three."
"Strange things will happen here, no stranger would it be-"
"-If we met at midnight in the hanging tree."A small petite girl sang as she wandered the garden that was filled with rich greens and bursts of blue, reds and yellow. Bright bluebells and violets were mixed together in the first flower bed. Red roses that were in full bloom as well and pink primroses were in the second garden. Yellow sunflowers and small dandelions were still in growth in the last garden.
"Are you, are you; coming to the tree?"
"I told you to run, so we'd both be free."
"Strange things have happened here-"
"-No stranger would it be-"
"If we met and midnight in the hanging tree."Glancing up, the small girl noticed a light cyan haired boy leaning on the wall; she smiled monetarily. "Ban," she breathed with a smile caressing her lightly tanned features.
"Fuck you," Ban mumbled his usual rugged voice, not intending to be offensive it was simply just a bad habit.
The girl tried to shrug it off, but it did hurt a little bit on the inside; she just didn't let that show. Instead, she just smiled more before glancing around worriedly.
"It's empty, for now," she spoke softly."What if I don't want to come in?" Ban inquired.
"Then why did you come here?"
"I was bored."
"Not my problem, mate."
"It is now, love." Ban said mocking her accent.
"Don't mock my, ye wee cunt!"
"Aye will mock ye."
"Bloody 'ell."
"You love me though."
"Aye,'course I dae."
"But..."
"You need to wake up..."
"And leave me..."
