It is time for the BALL.

Whoa! I bunked school today and now I should go out for shopping with Sarah.

"Maybe I should wear something casual now" I thought.

I got ready, grabbed my hand bag and stepped out of my home for FUN. I took out my phone and dialled Sarah's number.

Me: Hey Sarah, I'm waiting outside my home. Where should I meet you?

Sarah: Umm at the nearby coffee shop, I will catch you there Suzy

Me: Okay sure

Later: (At the coffee shop)

"Hey" I said waving to her. "Shall we start moving?" she asked to me.

"Yeah hehe, by the way did you talk to Eugene? What did he say?" I asked eagerly.

"Yeah he will be there, don't worry" he said as she assured me with a smile.

"Oh thank god" I said with a relief.

At the mall:

"What type of dress should I go for?" I was asking to myself as Sarah interrupted.

"Have you decided what you are going to choose?" she asked.

"Not yet" I said as I stood dumb.

"At least which colour?" she asked getting serious.

"BLACK" I said as I got excited.

"Cool, I think you should check out that section" she said pointing out to the other end.

"Okay sure" I said as I approached it.

Choosing a dress is the world's most difficult task I guess hehe, it's already been an hour.

At last, oh my thank goodness! I chose one ~ a beaded prom dress

This would be PERFECT! Yeah, let me check it out. I was glad that it fits me so well.

"Hey Sarah, how's my choice?" I asked as I turned around in excitement showing her my flawless outfit.

"Wow! I bet all the eyes will be on you girl" she said getting jealous a bit I would say.

Her choice was great too. I compliment her for that.

"Aha I said I already helped you with the pair I guess" she said.

"Hehe not that" I laughed.

"Come on, we are running out of time. Shall we buy the accessories now?" she asked.

"Oh yeah" I said rushing.

It's a masquerade ball, so we should buy couple masks too. And we did at last.

I hope my choice is good?

We had lunch together later, and checked out few other sections too. Finally, it was time to go to home

I'm so tired now; maybe I should take a shower. I slept early today

THE BALL:

Yasss, finally it is the day I was very much eagerly waiting for! I shouldn't be late for it, I started to get ready. I dressed up, wore my makeup, made up a good hairstyle, and wore a bracelet and my favourite necklace. I tried calling Sarah, but she isn't picking up my call.

I just checked myself in the mirror

"BEAUTIFUL!" I said to myself hehe.

Now ready to go! I rushed to the venue

But.... Where's Sarah??? I could find her nowhere. Oh no, what to do now??

I wouldn't be allowed in too check it out too duh. I was just waiting outside for a while as I got a call from an unknown number

Me: Well who's it now??

Hello?

?: Hey Suzy

Me: yes, may I know who's speaking?

?: It's me Eugene

Me: Oh hey, where are you now?

Eugene: I'm terribly sorry Suzy; I couldn't make it to the ball seriously. I just made it up with my girlfriend, hope you understand me please

Me: What? You have a girlfriend??

Eugene: Yes

Me: Then how could you think of coming with me?

Eugene: We broke up that day, so I thought of helping you. But we got together later, so I can't be going with you. I am sorry

Me: Oh, hope you two have fun. Bye

Eugene: Bye Suzy, I'm very sorry again

Me: Yeah it's okay

How could this be okay???! I'm going to burst out now, I was so excited for this ball, now everything is spoiled. I couldn't find Sarah too, how unlucky I am.

Maybe I should leave. I walked towards the entrance gate heartbroken; I could never ever forget this mess!
