“What a day."Roger muttered under his breath.
“What do you mean 'what a day'?The day just started!"Christina scolded him.
“I meant what a night."he corrected himself.
“Oh yeah? What happened during the night?"Christina smirked at him.He gave her a look and shook his head.
“Nothing."
He walked away, holding a mug of freshly made coffee.Made from original coffee beans.I looked at him as he walked away.He seems disturbed, like something's bothering him.
“What's gotten into him?"Christina muttered to herself. She began reading a few sources we found. We found letter, journals and a diary. All in the office and the library.
“Roger!"I called. He looked up at me and I immediately saw the dark circles under his brown eyes.
“What's wrong?"I asked him.He looked at me and he chuckled humorlessly.
“If I tell you you won't believe me."he said.
“Why don't you try?"I tempted. He sighed and told me to sit down next to him.I did as told.
“I've been.....seeing things."he said.I froze.
“What things?"I asked.
“More like people.Like....phantoms or ghosts,I don't know."he shook his head.“Forget about it."
“No!"I screeched.“Tell me."
He took in a deep breath.“It all started when I went to the basement together with Eric."
I nodded.
“He was telling scary stories about basements and all that.I simply shrugged it off and I continued doing my work, but then..."
“But then what?"I asked him.His eyes were widened and his mouth formed an 'o' shape.I began shaking him,but he didn't move.
“Look."he whispered.I looked over to where he was looking and I noticed that it was out the window. When I looked closer,I saw a grey-skinned little girl standing out in the woods. She had not dark but black circles under her eyes ans she was wearing a pink and beige dress. She was holding a little teddy bear.
I froze immediately. She was looking directly at us.She then slowly began raising her arm until it was pointed towards us.I gasped lightly.
And then, all of a sudden, she disappeared. It was as if she evaporated on the spot;no sign of the little girl. That scared me even more.
“What was that?"Roger asked in a whisper.
“I don't know."I responded in the same tone.
“That's it."he said,turning to face me,“We have to tell the group."I didn't say anything,I simply nodded.

“That's crazy!"Eric said,standing from his seat.
“No,it's not!Why would it be crazy?"I asked,standing as well.
“You're telling us that you've seen ghosts and phantoms around the house! You think that's normal?"he huffed.
“Why would we lie?"
“Why wouldn't you?"
“Eric,please."David boomed.
“Whatever!I'm just being realistic."He replied.
“No,you're being childish."He clarified.
“Would you believe in that?!"Eric asked angrily.
David swallowed hard.He didn't seem to want to answer the question, which broke my heart a little.I thought they would be on our side.I thought they'd believe in us.I never thought this would happen.
“David?"I asked.He didn't answer.
“Christina?"No reply.
“Matt?"
“Look,I really want to believe but I can't.It just sounds wrong. It sounds surreal."
“Laura?"
“I believe in you."she said, standing from her seat."I don't think they'd lie about something so serious."
“Oh come on!"Eric groaned.
“Stop it already!Let's do this.Let's forget about this okay? We're here for one purpose;to do our job.Nothing more, nothing less.If you don't want to be here,go.But don't accuse people for nothing."David said loudly.Eric kept his mouth shut after that, for which I was grateful for.
I never thought he'd be so ignorant. He's been my friend for a long time.I never expected him to behave so badly. This night is full of disappointments.
“Let's go to bed yes? It's been a long day."David said walking up the stairs.Eric huffed and stood up,following David.Christina didn't do anything, she just sat still.
“I told you they wouldn't believe."Roger sadly said to me.
“I never thought this would happen."I whispered.
“Neither did I."he mumbled.
“Now I understand. That's why the two of you have always been quiet and more introverted. That's why you been sleeping with me.Now it all makes sense!"Laura exhaled.I nodded. She's right.
“Why didn't you tell me this before?!"she asked.
I shrugged.“Didn't want to be called a liar."I muttered.
She hugged me tightly after I said that.I can't believe she's here,supporting Roger and I.I thought she'd be like the rest.But no,she's here,with me.
I hope the others can see what we've been seeing. That way,and only that way, they'll believe.
