Eric ran down the stairs like his life depended on it.He was panting heavily, and his eyes were widened.
“Guys,we have a problem."he said to the group that was investigating the living room.
They stopped doing what they were doing and they eyed him curiously, but with a look of concern.
“What's up?"David said as he wiped his hand on his shirt.
“The-the..."Eric was gasping for air.He could barely breathe.
“Calm down mate! What's going on?"David asked with concern.
“Look!"he said, pointing towards my leg.David cocked an eyebrow and Eric stared at it in horror.
“What?"I asked in a shaky voice.Roger stepped in front of me and examined my leg.I was too afraid to look down.I was afraid of what I would see.
“Claire, your wound...it's gone."Roger said as he looked deeply into my eyes.I stared down at it and I gasped.
My leg had nothing on it.Not even one trace of blood.Nothing.
“Okay, what's going on here?"David asked with a frown.
“That's crazy."Eric said, backing away.“That's insane.I saw it.I saw that cut,I saw the blood I saw that thing tryna make its' way out.
God I saw it with my own eyes.
“Eric what are you talking about?"David asked. He had a frown knitting his eyebrows together.
“It was there."Eric whispered.“They weren't lying, they were telling the truth. There's something wrong with this place. We gotta get outta here."
“Eric calm down."
“I can't!"Eric shouted.
“First of all, tell me what's going on!"David demanded.
“Why?It's not like you're gonna believe.I didn't believe at first but now?I do.It was right there,now it's gone."Eric exclaimed.
David looked at him as if he was the craziest person in the world.
“Eric what's gotten into you?"he asked with concern.
“Reality."Eric said as he charged up the stairs again.“I'm gonna pack my bag.I'm out of here in twenty-four hours."
“Negative. We're locked here, for good."Christina said as she neared us.
“What?Who did that?"Roger asked.
“The government. We can't leave here without the whole house being searched, just in case we don't steal anything."she explained.
“How long?"Roger asked.
“Two more weeks or so."she answered.
Eric cursed under his breath.
“I'm going to go insane here."Eric said as he sat on one of the steps.David was left speechless.
“Let's get back to work."He said as he walked out of the sitting room.Roger sighed heavily.
“At least someone believes us right?"he said almost breathlessly.
“Yeah."I nodded in agreement.
The day was long and exhausting. So many things happened, just remembering gives me a headache.
The ghost, the mirror incident, the thing making its' way out of my cut. Then, the cut disappearing.
And now,the worst thing of all, this lockdown. We can't even get out of here, for two whole weeks.
My life is officially a living horror.Everywhere I go,I see them.Everything I see,reminds me of them.Of these ghosts,or phantoms,I don't know.
I lost my bible. Now,I can't even pray to God and ask him to help me and guide me through this mess. They probably took it away.
They say seeing is believing,and I'm sure I see ghosts.Do I believe in them?Yes.Am I afraid of them?Yes.
Everyday, the hole gets deeper and deeper. We see more of them all the time and anywhere.
The library is the coldest place in this house,I'm guessing it's where they're united.
I feel like I'm going insane. This situation is ruining me mentally and spiritually.
If this phase in my life doesn't change,if this lockdown takes any longer,I'll go insane.
