-John Pov-

I'm Henry. Henry Laurens.

The words repeat in my head over and over. I snap back into reality when I realize I should respond.

"Y-you're....... my dad?...... Why'd you wait to contact me now of all times??"

"I only just now found you. Kings huh? Pretty cool. So. Do you wanna meet up today? The little cafe a couple blocks from you?"

"Of course! That would be awesome!!! Oh uh one weird question."

"Fire."

"Are you homophobic?"

There's a slight pause.

"Hah. Nope."

"Oh and can someone else tag along?" I ask him. Alex and him should meet.

"Yes, please. I'd love to meet one of your friends!"

"Ok cool!! Should we meet at noon?"

"That sounds good! I'll see you there kiddo." Henry says as he hangs up. I look at Alex and Carie with a stupid smile on my face.

"John calm down. I know he's your dad but if you don't calm down you'll wake everyone up." Alex tells me while holding my shoulders. I take a deep breath. We all agree to get a bit more sleep because it's 3 in the morning.

-that morning-

When I wake up, I see Alex shaking my arm.

"Alex? What time is it?....." I ask him. He shows me the time. 11:36. I panic for a second before Alex explains.

"Don't worry. I checked your schedule and noticed you don't have a class till 1:25. The others went home a while ago. I let you sleep cuz you seemed tired earlier. We should probably start getting ready to go meet up with Henry." He says while putting on an oversized sweater that I swear is mine. I stand up and put on a Doctor Who shirt and my flannel. We fix our hair a bit and go to the cafe. When we get there I realize something..... I have no idea what Henry looks like. After a second, I see someone at a table wave at me. Well. I guess that's him. Alex and I walk over and thank the lord Jesus it's Henry. We start talking and he seems pretty cool.

"So John. Is this your boyfriend?" Henry asks. I feel a blush form on my cheeks.

"I... Uhm.... I-I-" I stutter before Alex cuts me off.

"Yes. I'm his boyfriend." He says while grabbing my hand. My blush immediately intensifies and both Alex and Henry chuckle.

"Well, Alex, I trust that you will take care of my boy." My father says. Alex nods.

"Of course sir." He looks at me. "I wouldn't dream of hurting him." I giggle at the cheesiness. We continue talking and manage to catch up with each other and out of the millions of thoughts racing through my head, one of them dominated all of them.

This is the father I've always wanted.

Holy s**t she's alive! I'm so so sO sorry for not updating in so long!!!! I've just had no motivation and I've also been at camp for a week. I hope you understand and I hope you liked this chapter. Henry is gonna be an a w e s o m e dad. I'll see you guys in probably a couple weeks cuz that's how my update schedule has turned out. Byeeee!!!!!

Btw when I get to like 5,000 views I might do something 4 y'all like a face reveal or an oc contest y'all can decide what y'all want. I doubt im gonna make it there any time soon but still. Welp bye!!
