Okay, so, I haven't told you guys this yet, but on the May 31 we have our last concert (because we're in sixth grade and next year we go to the other school), and one of the songs we're singing is A Thousand Years. On Wednesday (the 9th), we auditioned.
As some of you may know, I'm actually really shy when it comes to standing up in front of a group of people and talking/singing.
By the time I was done singing the ONE VERSE we had to sing, I was shaking. I knew I wouldn't get it.

So the next week on Tuesday (the 15th) when we went to music class, she told us when we walked in.
"For solo part one, it's Angel and Sydney, and for solo part two, it's Jessica and Casey." She said. I almost screamed. Like, I was shaking again.
To be honest, it's not even a solo. It's a duo, but whatever! I got it!
--
We'll be singing, "Time stands still, beauty in all she is. I will be brave, I will not let anything take away-"
And then Jess and Casey will sing, "what's standing in front of me... every breath, every hour has come to this." So we have the second verse.
The other class will be singing the first verse.
Both classes together (not just the people singing the solos) will be singing the chorus and stuff.
--
I'll try to get my parents to take a video of it. If not then I'll have my phone with me, and I'll only have an audio recording. It'll be up on YouTube either way, or if I get my parents to take the video then both will be up.

I'm extremely excited and nervous at the same time.

Random[Art Book] I post art here, occasionally (very occasionally)! Over the years I've definitely gotten better at drawing but it's almost fun to look back at it all, behind the cringing. There's a lot of cringing, believe me. Sometimes I also post thing...
