Chapter 10- Anything

Shane's POV

I kept banging on the door. I could hear him crying his eyes out. I felt so bad. I just wanted to hug him and explain myself.

I actually have no idea why I kissed back. I literally have no idea. But I don't like Tyler, I love Joey.

Shane: Please Joey. I'm sorry. I love you.

Tyler: You don't need him.

I jumped and turned around. I glared at him. He just screwed up my relationship and then he tries to flirt with me or something?

Shane: Go away Tyler.

Tyler: Why?

He pushed me up against the door and pinned me against it. I shoved him away.

Ugh why are all of my ex's crazy?

Shane: Joey please let me in. You don't even have to talk to me.

It was silent. Then Joey opened the door. I walked in and shut the door. I locked it to make sure Tyler wouldn't bother us.

Joey was crying on the bed. It broke my heart. I slowly walked over and placed my hand on his shoulder.

Joey: Don't touch me!

Shane: Joey I-

Joey: No! Get away!

I walked in front of him and pulled him into a hug. He cries into my chest. I rub his back until he calms down.

Shane: I'm sorry Joey. I shouldn't have kissed him back and I feel terrible.

Joey: W-why did you kiss him back?

Shane: I-I don't know...

Joey: You still love him don't you?

Shane: No! I love you with all of my heart. I promise you.

Joey: Really?

Shane: Yes! Of course!

Joey's POV

Should I believe him? I want to but what if he's lying.

I stare at him for a minute. He stares back. He's waiting for me to say something.

Joey: Can we just go to bed?

Shane: Sure.

He still holds me as we lay down. I think about last time something like this happened.

Why can't we just have a normal relationship?

I looked up at Shane's face. He was looking at me. I leaned forward and kissed him.

Joey: What are we gonna do Shane?

Shane: I don't know. If you really want to, we'll leave.

Joey: But we have no where to go.

Shane: I'll figure out something.

Joey: No. It's fine. We'll stay here for now.

We both stayed silent for a while. I closed my eyes and started to doze off but he talked again.

Shane: Joey I'm really sorry.

Joey: I know.

Shane: I feel bad. I'll do anything to make it up to you. Anything.

Anything? I guess I could have fun with this.

Joey: I'll keep that in mind for later on...

Shane: Oh god. Joey you know I won't do anything illegal. I'm drawing the line there.

Joey: I wasn't going to make you do anything illegal!

Shane: Fine. Goodnight babe.

Joey: Goodnight.

He kissed my forehead. I smiled and cuddled into his chest. I closed my eyes and finally fell asleep.
