1- Outlining / Sketching
Messy outlines are 💕💕 to me tbh, so when I sketch, I just erase things like the top of the head and directional lines on the face (the vertical and horizontal lines)2- Coloring in basic shapes
I make sure to keep different items on different layers. For this drawing, I actually had 4 layers of colors. I separated it by; Hair, Skin, Accessories (i count the eyes and moles as accessories idk why ok. But things like jewelry and hats would go here too), and clothes.3- Skin Shading
This is the step where I patiently put in the irises as well, just to give it that soft edge that I've recently implemented into my style. This is easily my most enjoyable step, just bc shading the eyes makes them look vv pretty (and I watch a lot of makeup videos in my spare time leave me alone)4- Hair and Clothing Shading
Self-explanatory5- Outline coloring
I was gonna leave the outline alone this time, but then I realized that I was planning to make this a process chapter so I just went for it (excuse how dramatic the eyebrow gradient is, its like my signature ok) Outlines for skin are less unrealistic with a brown/tan look, and I honestly couldn't care less about the color of the clothing outlines6- Background
Because I'm a weeny, my default background is either rectangular or circular, and I do that with the shape tools (on medibang (what I use) they're called fill tools) And gradients are always cool.Heath is really beautiful and all but i want him to tie his sweatpants drawstrings and burn the shoes ://///
