"You can't possibly tell me that you don't believe in Rollerworld! I mean, where is your imagination?" Jamal asked loudly.

He was leaning against the counter while Baby stood on the other side behind the cash register. She had a smile on her face as she listened to Jamal rant about Rollerworld.

"I guess I don't have one." She shrugged teasingly, causing the boy to roll his eyes.

"I can't believe you," Jamal muttered, eyeing Baby with a disgusted look.

The sound of a bell rang loudly throughout the store, signaling the entrance of a customer. The two turned their attention to the front, both having opposite reactions once they saw who it was.

"Wassup mami," Oscar's deep voice projected toward her as he got closer.

She smiled at the man and leaned onto the counter. Oscar kissed her lips softly as he rested against the barrier between them. Baby lifted her hand onto the back of his neck in attempt to deepen the contact.

He quietly hummed into the kiss, causing a small smile to form on Baby's lips.

"Okay, I'm just gonna-"

"You." Oscar pulled away from his girl and pointed toward the 14 year old.

Jamal froze and slowly faced Oscar, "Me?"

His voice was shaky, which amused Oscar. He smirked and decided to mess with him.

"You on the team, right?"

"Correct." The boy nodded.

Baby caught on and whacked her boyfriend's arm, "Leave him alone."

"Nah we good," He glanced down at his girlfriend and turned his attention back to Jamal.

"We good, right?" Oscar stared at the freshman as he nodded in agreement, too afraid to speak.

Baby rolled her eyes and pushed herself up to sit on the countertop. Oscar leaned back onto the counter and into his girlfriend, still staring at Jamal. Baby rested one arm around Oscar and pulled her phone out.

"So..how did that happen?" He pointed to the sling around his arm.

Immediately, Jamal's body tensed and panic was written all over his face. Oscar wore a smirk while Baby shook her head, her eyes still on her phone.

"Um," He nervously laughed, "you know how rowdy it be on the field." Jamal shrugged and used his free hand to playfully nudge the man.

Oscar's smirk instantly dropped and was replaced with a threatening stare. Before he could react any further, Jamal gasped before screaming loudly as he ran out of the store.

Baby clicked her tongue and lightly lifted Oscar's head off of her before sliding off the counter. She couldn't hold back her laughter at what went down in front of her and pretty soon, her and Oscar were laughing their asses off.

"What time you off?" Oscar asked her after they both calmed down.

"I'm supposed to be off now.." Baby's voice trailed as she looked at the time, "but Jess isn't here yet."

As if on cue, the slim brunette entered the shop, the sound of the bell signaling her arrival.

"Sorry I'm late!" Jess exclaimed as she ran behind the counter, clipping on her name tag.

"Oh, who's this?" The brunette smiled once she set her eyes on Oscar.

Baby rose an eyebrow toward the girl, unclipping her name tag and placing it underneath the counter. She slowly made her way next to her man, joined their hands together, and smiled at her co-worker.
