The next morning reba woke up early but very happy. She felt so fortunate to have her boyfriend with her for the next couple of days. She went downstairs to make breakfast for her and her love. While cooking she turned on the radio and sing along.
Upstairs Skeeters woke up with a big smile on his face. Yesterday has been amazing and he had the idea that it will only get better. Since it was a warm night, he just slept in his boxers. He stood up, put on his bathrobe and went downstairs. He heard music coming from the kitchen. When he walked up to the noise he got a huge smile on his face when he saw his girlfriend cooking breakfast. On the radio played the song 'happy' from Bruno Mars and she was singing and dancing while baking some eggs. He chuckled when he saw her shaking her hips on the beat. He silently went up to her, put his arms around her waist, put soft kisses in her neck and let his hips follow her moves. She chuckled when she felt her boyfriend so close to her. They danced and cuddled like that for a while before she turned around, put her arms around his lower back and kissed him hard and deeply on his lips. Both got swept away in the hot tension of the moment when he pulled her up and put her on the kitchen counter. She wrapped her legs around his waist and pushed him closer to her by pushing on his hips with her feet. He softly bit on her lower lip to let her open her mouth. As soon as she did his tongue went in and played a wild game with hers. By al the dancing and touching their bathrobes felt open and they showed each other a good view on their body's. While he kissed her sweetly in her neck she threw her head back and closed her eyes. He was so incredibly turned on by the view of his girlfriends perfect body that he could no longer hide his excitement. He got closer to her what made her feel his hard one on her lower body. She somehow expected this but it also scared her a little bit. She opened her eyes and saw him kissing all over her body, touching her breasts and checking her body. She didn't know were it came from but she started to panic a little bit. She wasn't ready for this and she wanted it to stop.
"I'm sorry I can't do this!"
She pushed him away from her, got off the kitchen counter and ran away with tears in her eyes. Skeeter stood there amazed. He didn't saw this coming. He really thought she liked and wanted it as much as he did. He had no idea what he did wrong but he felt really bad he made her feel this way.
Reba ran outside and sat down on her porch swing. She hide her head in her hands and let her tears stream. She couldn't believe what she just did, she rejected the man she loves so much. Instead of telling him early she wasn't ready for it, she let him got really close, got him extremely turned on and then rejected him. She hated herself for doing that. The demons of her past came back and her insecurities about her body made it even worse. She knew she really hurt him by doing that and that made her feel even more awful.
After a while Skeeter came outside and saw his girlfriend crying unstoppable. His heart broke when he saw her like that. He didn't know what was going on and felt a little hurt by what happened in the kitchen but he hated seeing her like this. He went up to the porch swing, sat next to her, pulled her in a close hug and started to comfort her.
"I'm so sorry!" She cried in his chest.
"Don't be honey. Don't be." He softly rocked her back and forth and stroke smooth circles on her back.
He let her calm down before he took her head in his hands and placed a soft kiss on her lips.
"Are you ok?" He asked concerned.
She nodded softly. "I am now."
He looked her into her eyes. "Can you and do you want to tell me what happened?"
She nodded. "I'm not ready for this. I'm really sorry I let you come this close and got you all turned on and then I turned you down. I'm so sorry! But I'm just not ready for it, I panicked!" She cried.
"Oh honey." He said while tears came in his eyes. He hated seeing her this sad. "It's ok. We can wait, we'll only do it when you are ready." He cupped her face and gave her a soft kiss on her lips. She softly kissed him back.
"Honey, can I ask you something?" He asked her concerned while he looked her in her eyes.
She looked at him with teary eyes and nodded silently.
"Did something happen to you in the past, what made you panic like this?" He asked very softly, yet he was really concerned about her.
She nodded while she burst into tears again. His heart broke when his worst nightmare became reality. He pulled her into a tight hug and let her cry everything out.
"Oh honey. I'm so sorry to hear that!" He now cried himself.
He cupped her face and dried her tears. When most of her tears were gone she took a deep breath and looked at him.
"It was in high school. I had a crush on some guy from my class and one day at the fair things heated up like it just did between us. I wasn't ready for it, but he didn't listen to me!"
"Did he...?" His heart broke even more for her.
"He tried but somehow I could ran away from him."
"Thank got!" Skeeter sighed relieved.
"I don't know why this came up again baby. I just panicked!"
He pulled up her chin to look her straight in the eyes.
"You know I would never, ever do something like that to you right?"
She nodded.
"I know. I'm just so insecure about my body since my ex left me for a younger woman. And things really got heated up between us and I was scared to show you my body. Scared I will not be good enough for you. And when I felt your excitement I was scared I couldn't gave you what you wanted and somehow my demons from the past came back and I panicked!"
Tears were streaming down both of their faces. He cupped her head and placed a soft and very emotional kiss on her lips."
"I understand baby. That story is horrible and I will never, ever do anything to make you feel this bad. You really don't need to be insecure. You're a wonderful, amazing woman, inside and out. I love you with all my heart. I understand that the fact that your ex left you for a younger woman makes you feel insecure about yourself but you really don't need to. You will always be enough for me. Dang I wonder myself what I did to deserve such a wonderful woman. I'm sorry that I got swept up in the moment and my excitement scared you. I'm really sorry for that! We will take our time for that, I promise you! We will do things at your pace! But please baby promise me you will talk to me. Tell me what your needs are and what you don't want. I'm here for you and I always will. All I want is for you to be happy!"
She looked at him with teary eyes.
"I am happy with you! Very happy. Thanks for understanding and I'm really sorry about what happened!"
He smiled softly. "Don't be honey. It might sound weird but it's somehow good this happened. Now both of us know that this is a emotional point in our relationship and I will do everything I can to make those demons of your past and your insecurities go away! I promise you I will do everything to make you the happiest, most confident woman alive!"
She smiled at him softly and they shared another sweet smile and some little kisses.
"Thank you baby! For everything! I love you so much!" She said while looking him in the eyes.
"You're welcome honey! I love you too, with all my heart, for the rest of my life!"
They stayed and hugged for a little while in the porch swing, just spending time together.
After a while they made breakfast together and ate outside enjoying a calm morning. Both of them were kind of relieved things were been spoken and they knew they would get through anything, as long as they are together.
After breakfast they decided to do a historical walk downtown Nashville. Reba had a walking tour map so they could make a nice trip and she could tell him some history and story's. While holding hands they walked through a big part of Nashville. She told him some facts about the Shelby street bridge, the Riverfront, Printers Alley, the old financial district, ...
By the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Ryman Auditorium she shared some sweet and funny personal story's with him. He loved the way she guided him through Nashville and he loved to spend al this time with his love.
When it was noon they bought them some sandwiches and they had a nice and peaceful lunch by the Cumberland River. Both of them really enjoyed the beautiful weather and the time they shared with each other without any interruptions.
After their long walk together they did some grocery shopping to make dinner together. When they were back at Reba's house they showered and changed into something more comfortable before they started to cook together. Reba was the chef and Skeeter turned out to be a pretty good help. They made a pasta dish with tomatoes, onions and spinach. A dish both of them really liked.
They worked really well together in the kitchen and complete each other in there tasks.
For dessert Skeeter made his famous chocolate mousse.
"My famous chocolate mousse is ready!" He said very proud.
Reba smiled. "Perfect! Can I try it?"
He chuckled. "Of course you can!"
He took her a spoon and let her taste some of the mousse.
"So what do you think?" He asked her curiously, since it was the first time she tasted it.
"Mmmm delicious!" She moaned softly.
She came closer to him and looked him in the eyes.
"What do you think about this?" She asked him before she crushed her lips on his and they shared a deep and passionate kiss. Both started to laugh when they broke away for air.
"That did taste better!" He winked at her. She smiled widely before she gave him another kiss. They really enjoyed their homemade dinner and the peaceful moments they shared with each other. After dinner, they cleaned everything and went to the play room.
"Can I challenge you to play some snooker?" She asked grinding.
He laughed at the look she gave him. "Bring it on baby!"
They played some games of snooker and had a wonderful time together.
The entire time they teased each other playfully and shared some sweet kissing moments.
After playing for a while they cuddled some more on the couch before they went upstairs. They shared one last, long kiss before each went to their room and went to bed. While Skeeter was scrolling on his phone he smiled when he got a text from his girlfriend.

Sweetheart thanks for making me this happy and thanks for understanding me. You gave me back my faith in true love and my confidence. I love you with all my heart. Sweet dreams my love!

Sweet baby, of course I understand our situation. Don't worry we will take our time to make all of this the most beautiful, wonderful time for both of us! We won't rush anything just slowly enjoying our time together. I love you with all my heart and I will always be there for you! Sweet dreams my love. After a while both of them fell asleep with a happy, pleased feeling and a smile on their face.
