I will always follow you

I awoke to some one calling my name.

"Wake up Melissa, wake up...", someone was calling.

I woke to see an unfamiliar ceiling, but then I remembered the events that occurred the night before.

I saw the daylight hit his face but I couldn't see it last night due to tiredness and low lighting. Then I saw that he was the handsome boy from my dream.

This was all too confusing to think of a reason why he was in my dream, but I sat there with my mouth open. This time it was his turn to be confused.

"Are you okay?", he asks.

"Uh, yeah."I reply stupidly.

He gives me a concerned look, but then stands up to help me up.

" I have to go tell my parents your here. You come eat breakfast downstairs with my family.", He says while heading out the door.

I sneak downstairs quietly, careful that whoever else lives in this house won't wake up to our racket. He does the same. I follow him through the main room to a door I couldn't see last night that seems to lead us to the kitchen. When we walk in, I see a small polished wooden table with a designed red, orange, and yellow rug. They have a small wooden lamp with candles on it. There anew also cupboards that have carved out handles with copper woven through.

"Nice house. My kitchen only has a birch table, a candle, and wooden planks as the floor.",I say, remembering how drab and dark it looked.

We sat in silence and ate some toast and eggs. Then I heard movement upstairs.

"Good morning Gavin,", a sleepy voice called down.

"Hey mom, we have a guest.", he replied.

"Who it it?",She said, suddenly alert.

"Her name is Melissa."

"I'll be right down"

We heard footsteps rushing down and a woman with long brown hair and blue eyes appeared. She grabbed some toast and butter and ate her breakfast.

"Hey, my name is Melissa. It's nice to meet you Mrs?",I said.

"Mrs. Nightglow",she said.

Then I heard a knock at the door..
