~ Chapter 2 ~
~ First Day of New Beginnings ~
As I listened to the annoying ranting of my Aunt I layed in my bed reading, whats called a "magazine". The cover had a picture of a pretty female human dressed in a light blue sun dress. Her wavey blond hair curled at the ends and stopped just above her mid back.
I analyzed my appearance. My brown hair was also wavy with curls and the ends. But my hair stood out because i had natural purple highlights that i inherited from my mother. My eyes are naturally brown but a hint of whatever my mood is.
And right now I'm curious which is lime green. I admit the human on the cover did look prettier than me but i just ignored that fact and opened the magazine.
I tried reading it but Aunt Marcey's constant yelling annoyed me a little. I then hopped off my bed and skipped down the wooden staircase.
" No! I will not quiet down because-"
" Hey Aunt Marcey" I said with a smile. She glanced at me for a second then continued talking.
" Well how am i supposed to know that?! Listen... I moved to Earth for a specific reason and that reason is not to be ignored" she spoke. I grabbed my bag and check my phone while eyeing Aunt Marcey. She saw this then said," Fine. Just. Bye."
I checked my phone for messages and i had 27, not including Seth. I texted back all of his, most of them where "are you okay?" or ' Hope! Where are you?' I rolled my eyes. Seth is always so protective.
Then my phone buzzed and his hologram appeared.
" So you are okay, that's good," he let out a sigh."but why did you leave so suddenly?" he asked me.
" Because I didn't like it on Cahaya so I went to Earth to start over" I answered as simple as i could.
" But you flew halfway across the galaxy!" he complained.
" I flew halfway across the galaxy, whats so bad about that?" I came back with... wait that didn't come out right.
" What's bad is that your mother is wondering where you went!" he replied.
My eyes widened,"What?! No way she didn't care about me there and i bet she doesn't now so stop lying to me!" I yelled and then ended the call.
" I see both have problems." she laughs then takes a sip of what's called coffee on earth.
" What are your problems?" I ask her.
She almost chokes but then finally says," What's up with you and Seth? I thought you both where best friends."
" Yeah okay. He has the nerve to tell me that my mom is wondering where i've gone." I say in a frustrated tone.
Aunt Marcey nods in agreement then sits next to me on the leather couch.
" Hope don't worry about that just yet okay? Your here now and that's what we are going to live up on." she says in a comforting down. I took a breath to calm myself down.
