Helpless {Zane x Reader}

~Chapter 3~

As we walk in the hotel where we are staying, it looks like Aaron, Lucinda, Derek, and R are having a meeting. 

"The GF have already searched these parts of the island..." Derek points to the map of Starlight. "Now they are going inward, and they are surrounding the island. No one gets in, no one gets out." 

"Maybe..." Aaron starts. "If we go into one of the hotels where they already searched, they won't find us." 

"No," Derek objects.

"Why not?" Aaron asks. "They won't find us. And since they searched that part of the island, it would be illogical for them to search it again." 

"We are not moving!" Derek shouts. "The chances of them finding us are too high, and if we move in numbers, that would make us more vulnerable and easier for them to get us." 

Aphmau pulls me into the kitchen where Kawaii~Chan is. 

"Y/N! Aphmau!" She smiles. "Did you find any?" 

"Yeah," I hand the bag of sugar to Kawaii~Chan. "I'm going to get more tomorrow." 

"What?!" She gasps happily. "How?! Sugar is SUPER rare to guests on the island!!" 

"Lets just say Y/N has an inside source now." Aphmau says slyly.

"Huh?" Kawaii~Chan looks confused. "An inside source...?" 

"One of the guardian force's guards offered to be my inside source..." I sigh. 

"He took a liking to Y/N!" Aphmau giggles. "She used her charms to put him under her spell~" She wiggles her eyebrows and I blush. 

"Sh-Shut up!" I smack her arm lightly. "It's just that... he isn't like the other guards, at all." 

"Who cares what you did!! You could have seduced him to your bed for all I care!!" Kawaii~Chan shouts and hugs me. "I HAVE SUGAR!!! I can bake stuff now!!!" 

I blush intensely. "I-I wouldn't--" 

"Now go!!" Kawaii~Chan pushes me and Aphmau out of the kitchen and starts making batter for (most likely) cookies very violently (normal Kawaii~Chan/Nana). 

"Well then," Aphmau starts. "Would you--"

"NO!!" I shout, still blushing. 

"I was going to ask if you could get Zane..." Aphmau giggles. "I want to talk to him." 

"O-Oh...." I look down the hall to Zane's door. "Yeah, I'll get him..." 

I walk to his door and I knock. "Zan--" 

"We shouldn't be in this." A voice says. 

Garte...? What is he doing in Zane's room..? 

"Dad..." 

"No. We don't have to be in this." He says harshly. "This is the Lycans' fight. The Ro'Meaves did nothing." 

"Mom...?" Zane says. 

"This is for you boys..." Zianna says sadly. 

"We can't leave them... what about the others..?" Zane says.

"They aren't important." 

I take a step back, my eyes wide. My heart pounds in my chest as I await Zane's answer.

We are important, aren't we, Zane? 

"Yes, Father..." 

Tears prick at my eyes, threatening to fall out. My breath becomes ragged, and I walk to my room that I share with Kawaii~Chan. 

Don't we matter, Zane..?
