This is set a week later, when Estrella comes.
"Hey, Will... and Will's friends." a girl greeted, walking over to the group.
"Hi, Star!" Will exclaimed, grinning at the girl, "It's been what? Five years?"
"Yeah, it must've been. Jeez, that's so long ago! I was nine!" she exclaimed, grinning. "Anyway, care to introduce me to your friends?"
"Oh! Right, yeah, sorry!" Will exclaimed. "This i--" but Eddie beat him to it.
"Hi, I'm Eddie - Eddie Kaspbrak. These guys are Ben, Bev, Mike, El, Lucas, Max, Richie, Gracie, Bill, Stan, Dustin and Mike. We really need a way to tell the difference between the two Mikes." Eddie stepped forward as he spoke.
"How 'bout I be Michael?" the farm-boy asked.
"That'd work." Eddie smiled.
"I'd offer to shake your hands, but I'd rather not." Star smiled back at Eddie.
Eddie blushed. He'd never - never - admit it, but Star was gorgeous and her smile just emphasised that. Even though she was Will's cousin, he couldn't help but immediately feel drawn to her. Maybe it was because she was new, or maybe it was some slight intutition into the future. Either way, Eddie was already falling for the girl. He'd just have to hope that someone else didn't get there first.
"Take a picture. It'll last longer." Star smirked, cutting him from his wandering thoughts.
"Oh! Um, sorry." Eddie turned a deeper shade of red.
"No, it's okay. I find it cute." she casually stated, and then turned to the group.
Cute, Eddie thought, she finds me cute! Not Richie, not Stanley, not Bill, not Michael - no, me, Eddie!
