Chapter 12

Eventually, the boys arrived at the arcade. Still hand in hand, they walked in and looked around, the sound of arcade machines and music filling their ears.

"It's nothing fancy, but I thought it would be fun" Hoseok suddenly said, turning to face Yoongi. Yoongi smiled widely and kissed Hoseok on the cheek.

"Just because we're on a date doesn't me you have to plan anything expensive or fancy. I love arcades" Yoongi said before dragging Hoseok away to the games.

As the evening went on, the boys continued playing different games, including a racing game, which Hoseok claimed he would win, however he was very far behind Yoongi the whole time.

About a few hours had passed by before they boys were satisfied with the amount of tickets they'd won. They decided to half them and headed to join the queue of people waiting to pick their prizes. Hoseok has wandered off to a different queue than Yoongi, meaning he had no idea what Hoseok would be getting.

Yoongi settled in some new headphones and some sweets before going to look for Hoseok. After a while he found him waiting near the exit, hiding something behind his back.

To Yoongi, the object looked exactly like a huge teddy bear. He prayed it wasn't and that Hoseok wasn't being cliche and cheesy, however he doubted that since this was Hoseok, the cheesiest dork on the planet.

Yoongi walked over with a small smile on his face, not even getting to speak before Hoseok revealed a pretty big teddy bear, holding a love heart. He held it out towards Yoongi with a wide smile. Before Yoongi could speak Hoseok best him to it.

"Don't even think about refusing it" he said, trying and failing to looks serious. Yoongi let out a chuckle and took the teddy bear, deciding it was best not to refuse Hoseoks gift.

"Wow, I forgot we were living in a teen romance movie" Yoongi said sarcastically. Even though he wasn't showing it, he secretly loved the teddy bear, it was really soft.

"Whatever, I know you love it, kitten" Hoseok said teasingly.

"Well maybe I do! So?" Yoongi said with a pout as he folded his arms, practically disappearing behind the big teddy bear. Hoseok let out a laugh and grabbed Yoongi's hand when he eventually unfolded his arms.

"Come on, we aren't done yet!" Hoseok said as he gently dragged Yoongi out of the arcade.

"Really? Where are we going now?" Yoongi asked, curiosity taking over.

"It's a secret" Hoseok teased with a small smirk on his face. Yoongi just rolled his eyes and scoffed, letting Hoseok drag him to where ever their next destination was. As they walked, Yoongi heard his stomach rumbling, hoping to himself that wherever they went had food.

They soon arrived at the park and Yoongi has a puzzled look on his face. Why would they go to the park?

"Follow me, I've got a surprise for you" Hoseok said with a wide smile, clearly excited about something. Rather than going to the actual park, he walked past it and into the forest just beside the park. Hoseok suddenly made a turn and walked through a gap between two trees that was impossible to spot unless you already knew it was there. At this point Yoongi was completely confused.

That is, until they came out of the tunnel of trees into an open area. Yoongi looked around and couldn't help but smile widely at the sight. The area looked as if it were a cave made out of trees, there were fairy lights hung up all the way around, leaving a beautiful dimly lit area. In the middle, there was a picnic blanket laid out on the floor with a basket on top on it. Yoongi looked up to see that there were plenty of stars in the sky since it was now beautiful. Everything looked perfect.
