Chapter 24

Hoseok woke up to the most beautiful sight ever, his boyfriend, still asleep, his hair messy and his cheeks flushed. He also couldn't help but notice the sleeping males exposed chest and neck that was covered in hickeys since he may have gotten a little bit carried away the night before.

It didn't take long for Yoongi to shift around slightly, opening his eyes. He yawned cutely, causing Hoseok to smile. He pulled Yoongi closer with the arm that was around his waist and kissed his forehead.

"Morning, baby" Hoseok said happily.

"Morning Hoseokkie" Yoongi mumbled in response as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

"Shall we go out somewhere today? The weather looks really nice" Hoseok suggested, looking over at the window. Yoongi just shook his head and cuddled closer to Hoseok.

"Wanna stay in bed with you all day" Yoongi responded, a small pout on his face.

Hoseok sighed, rolling his eyes. Yoongi always wanted to stay in bed, and Hoseok thought he should go out more. Especially since he had a surprise planned for the older male today.

"Come on Yoongi, I want to take you somewhere I think you'll enjoy" Hoseok muttered, trying to coax his boyfriend into getting out of bed. Again, Yoongi just shook his head, claiming they could just go tomorrow.

Sighing, Hoseok moved on to plan B, managing to get himself out of the smaller males grip, he stood up and walked towards the door.

"Well, I was going to suggest you join me in the shower, but since the bed is more comfortable I'll leave you here" He said, faking a sad tone as he walked towards their bedroom door. Suddenly, Yoongi opened his eyes and lifted his head up from the pillow.

"You know what, I think I've changed my mind" he said, suddenly full of energy as he got up and followed Hoseok to the bathroom.

The boys showered pretty quickly, although Yoongi had to keep trying to stop himself from getting distracted every time he looked at Hoseok. Once they were out and dressed, Hoseok grabbed his phone and his wallet, putting on some shoes quickly.

"Are you ready?" Hoseok asked, clearly very excited.

"Almost. Why are you so hyper?" Yoongi asked suspiciously, raising an eyebrow as he looked around for his shoes.

"Oh, no reason. Just be quick."

Yoongi eventually found his shoes and put them on, almost immediately getting dragged out of the house by Hoseok. Luckily, Yoongi didn't fall as they exited the house.

"Where are we going?" Yoongi asked curiously as they got into Hoseoks car.

"It's a surprise" Hoseok said with a mischievous smile, trying to contain his excitement.

After a while of driving the two boys stopped outside of an animal shelter.

"What are we doing here?" Yoongi asked, a puzzled look on his face as he got out of the car.

"Well, you wanted to get a dog after we had moved in together, didn't you?" Hoseok responded.

Suddenly, Yoongi's eyes lit up at the mention of a dog and he hugged Hoseok tightly.

"Yes! Definitely! Come on let's go I wanna see the dogs!" Yoongi practically squealed.

Hoseok laughed at his boyfriends sudden excitement, letting himself be dragged into the animal shelter by him.

After a while of looking and playing with all the dogs, Yoongi still hadn't decided, and Hoseok wouldn't help, saying it was Yoongi's choice. However, there were two dogs that seemed to have taken a liking to Yoongi.

One was a small brown poodle that had fallen asleep in his lap, and the other was a Shih Tzu that was sat beside Yoongi, who kept rolling a ball to him with his nose.

"Have you picked one yet, Yoongs?" Hoseok asked, crouching down beside his boyfriend.

"I'm not sure, these two are both really cute" Yoongi said with a pout, looking between the poodle and the Shih Tzu.

Hoseok was quiet for a moment, deep in though before he eventually spoke up again.

"Well, why don't we just get both?" Hoseok asked, laughing quietly when he immediately noticed Yoongi's eyes light up again.

"Both? Are you sure?" Yoongi asked, hope evident in his voice.

"Well, if you think we're able to take care of both of them properly, then yeah, why not?"

Yoongi nodded eagerly, liking the sound of having two dogs. He was about to speak up but before he got the chance, one of the volunteers who worked at the shelter walked over.

"Are you guys ok here? Do you need help worth anything?" The worked asked.

"Yes actually, we'd like to take home these to dogs here please" Hoseok said, signalling to the two dogs by Yoongi.

While Hoseok was filling out the necessary paperwork and whatever was needed, Yoongi smiled happily, looking at the two dogs who had now been put into animal carriers so that the two boys could easily get them home. He was trying his best to think of names for the dogs, since Hoseok said yet again, it was Yoongi's choice.

When the two boys got back in the car, Yoongi decided to sit in the backseat along with the dogs in the two carriers.

"Hm, I think I'll name you, Holly" Yoongi said, talking to the brown poodle.

Hoseok laughed quietly, watching Yoongi through the mirror in the front of the car.

"Holly? Isn't he a boy though?" Hoseok asked, raising an eyebrow.

"So? How dare you assume that Min Holly must have a boys name" Yoongi said, folding his arms dramatically.

Hoseok simply rolled his eyes, focusing on the road again as he drove home.

"What about the other one? Any ideas Hoseok?" Yoongi asked.

Hoseok thought for a while before speaking up.

"How about Mickey? I like that name" he responded.

"Yeah, me too! Mickey it is!"
