ch. 2 getting answers

Y/n pov- it was getting closer and closer to midnight but I decided I would do it at three am i was waiting for midnight cause a good movie was coming on. I already had my popcorn and other essential movie snacks ready. I also had an alarm set for 3 am so that way incase i fell asleep I would be woken up. The movie was the gallows. I had already seen it in the theaters but I wanted to watch it again. The movie was just starting and my mind immediately went to the ouija board next to the couch on a little night stand. I really hoped nothing bad would happen. All i wanted was answers and I was determined to get them no matter the cost. The movie was already getting to the good parts when i felt like i was being watched. I ignored it and continued to watch the movie figuring that i was just paranoid. Soon the feeling went away but little did I know the feeling was just the beginning of the shit storm that was about to come.

==time skip==

Y/n pov- the movie just finished and i still had a lot of time before 3 am so i decided to take a quick little nap. I was in dream land when all of a sudden im woken up by the alarm. I was nervous but I need to get answers . I pulled out a lighter and candles. I lit them and pulled the ouija board and put it in front of me. I put the candles around the board. I circled the board once.
Already the creepy factor was setting in.

I asked if anyone was here and it moved to yes.

I asked who it was and it spelled out my friends name (f/n) (a/n f/n means friends name)

I immediately started crying but i asked multiple questions. Such like why? (He/she) said was because they couldn't take life anymore.  Do u miss me? Yes.  Then i started asking questions with answers only (f/n) would know. The answers were right til I asked if (he/she) remembered about the funny prank we pulled. It said no and i immediately knew it was someone else. I asked who it was and slowly oh so slowly spelled out zozo. He was the reason i was afraid to do this now im down right terrified.
I tried to leave the game but he wouldn't let me. I asked what he wanted and he said he wanted to kill me. I again tried to leave the game but the planchette didnt wanna move. I heard a voice in my ear saying if i tried to leave he would kill my family. One of the candles went out and i heard a pan fall in the kitchen. The room felt about twenty degrees colder than before. Anxiety was shooting through my veins. Again I asked what it wanted and again the same answer was to kill me. A picture frame fell from the wall. I knew it would be stupid but I didnt wanna attempt to move the planchette. Its almost as if zozo read my mind cause I kept hearing the word death being whispered in my ear. All at once my house phone, and my phone started ringing. I felt a pain in my hand that wasnt on the planchette but I didnt dare move a muscle. I did something that was down right stupid and idiotic and forcefully moved the planchette to goodbye. All at once everything seemed calm but then all hell broke loose.  I heard screams of pain and the planchette moved to no. I asked why zozo wouldn't let me leave and nothing happened. The room was getting colder and colder by the second. My heart was going a mile a minute and I couldn't catch my breath. I then thought of a stupid question to ask but it was the only thing i could think of to get everything to stop. I asked if I could see him. The planchette went to yes and spelled out look. I picked it up and placed it to my eye. I scanned around the room and and saw a humanoid looking figure in the corner of the room. I said out loud to come closer. And it slowly moved to where i could get a clearer sight of it. I asked are you zozo. And it shook his head yes. I was surprised to not feel scared at all anymore but more relaxed and intrigued. I put the planchette down and asked again out loud if he could make himself visible to my eyes. Next thing i know is he is standing in front of me. I got up from where i was sitting and walked closer to him. I reached out and asked if i could touch him. He answered with a deep and soothing voice and said yes. I slowly touched his arm with a sparkle of hope in my eyes. He somewhat flinched when my hand reached his face. I took in every inch of him and next went to his horns. They felt weird and cool at the same time. I asked him if this was the first time hed ever let someone see him let alone touch him he responded yes. I was surprised. I asked if he would actually kill my family and myself and he said no. I asked him a load of other questions and he responded to each one. There was one question in the back of my mind tho. I was tempted to ask him if he wanted to be friends but I was to afraid. I decided screw it and asked.

Y/n- can I ask something?
Zozo- yes
Y/n- can we maybe be friends.
Zozo- well no ever has asked that question so i quite dont know how to respond. But I guess it could not hurt to try and have a human as a friend.
Y/n- then can i ask one more question
Zozo- why yes you can
Y/n- can i see my best friend (f/n)
Zozo- well since you have been extremely nice to me I suppose it wouldn't hurt.

Y/n pov- after he said that I heard another all to familiar voice behind me. I turned around to see (f/n). I immediately cried. The emotions running thru me were all mixed into one big ball. I turned back to zozo and asked if I could hug them and he said yes but my time with f/n was limited. I turned around and straight up ran to f/n. I cried and they cried to. It felt so strange to be back into an all so familiar touch. I asked if they were doing ok and they said yes. I talked to them for a couple more minutes before zozo said it was time for f/n to go. I said goodbye with one last hug and they vanished just as quick as they came. It wasnt enough time but ill take what i can get. I turned to zozo and asked if i could hug him he looked taken aback but non the less opened his arms and i ran straight to him. I thanked him while hugging him and asked what would happen when i end the game and he said he would stay around me all the time and now only I would be able go see him. I asked if it'd be ok to end the game and he said it would be ok. I walked back sat down and out the planchette over goodbye and pt away the game. I turned around and told him goodbye but also asked how would i talk to him again and he said for me to hold on. He then told me to hold out my hand and gave me a necklace with a planchette charm and said if I ever wanted to talk to him was to hold this necklace and simply mutter I wanna speak and see you zozo. I put the necklace on and I said bye and before he left i gave him a quick little peck on the cheek. He looked shocked but smiled after a couple of seconds and vanished. I blew out the candles, went upstairs, changed and went to bed knowing that the night didnt go as planned but i was happy I finally got the validation i needed. I closed my eyes and fell into a blissful sleep.

Zozo pov- that girl was something else. She talked to me as if I was another friend of hers. I couldn't believe what happened. I couldn't wait to talk to her again. My mind was racing. i remembered about a prophecy that told of me finding a mate and i think. found that person. Until the next time I see her tho im gonna have to wait.

Well guys hers the next chapter to this book. sorry it took so long but im happy I finally got it out tho. Also I wanna say thank you for the support thru what happened with my grandma.
