All was silent.

The moon shone bright and high on the sky and they were stars everywhere.

All cats in MoonClan were sleeping soundly, all except one.

The cat lay in the Queen's Den.

She was a silver tabby she cat nuzzling her kit.

"Oh, Tabbykit," she whispered, not trying to disturb the older queens.

"You don't know how much I love you. I'd be lost without you." While complimenting her kit, the queen slowly drifted into sleep.

The silver tabby trotted through the field landscape. The ground was soft earth, and the grasses reached as tall to her chest. Most beautiful of all, the sky was full of blazing bright stars. She slowly sat down to admire the amazing dream world before her, and she let out a soft sigh.

"Silverpelt."

She spun around at the sound of her name. "Who's there?! Show yourself!" Fear trembled in Silverpelt's voice. "If y-you don't come out right now, I-I will attack!"

She slowly grew more calm as a tom walked out from the bushes, with blue-gray fur and the eyes the color of a blazing fire.

"Is it really you?" She asked. The description matched perfectly. It was the cat she heard nursery tales of.

He answered for her. "Yes, it is I," he began, "I'm the first MoonClan deputy, Duskfire."

Silverpelt's fur was hot with excitement. It was a real StarClan warrior! But her happiness died away when she realized that StarClan only appeared to leaders and medicine cats. "Why are you visiting me?" She asked.

His expression turned grim.

"I have a prophecy for you."

She widened her eyes with shock. "But I'm only a queen! I nurse kits. I don't interpret prophecies! If your looking for the medicine cat, go visit Bigfoot or Pinestripe's dreams. I'm not the cat you're looking for."

"Oh but you are," he circled her. "This prophecy is secret. It's for your ears only."

Silverpelt accepted, and listened.

"Three kits of this very nursery have a destiny to walk among darkness and stars. Together, they will become one and save us all."

Silverpelt was horrified. "Why are you telling me this?"

"Because," Duskfire said grimly, "Tabbykit is one of them."

Silverpelt's eyes widened and she screeched. "NO! I can't let anything happen to Tabbykit. She's too precious!"

"Too bad." Duskfire growled.

The grass started to decay. The stars died out and the sky was jet black. It transformed into thick, burning woods. She fell unconcious from the struggle.

"Silverpelt....Silverpelt!"

"Agh!" Silverpelt jolted awake.

"Is everything ok?" Ravenleaf, the black and white queen was sitting next to Silverpelt, her leaf green eyes filled with worry.

"You were fighting in your sleep," the long haired white queen Snowpelt mewed. "Were you having a nightmare?"

"

"Yeah," Silverpelt said. "Just a nightmare." But she couldn't get the echoes of Duskfire's words out of her head.
