"Whee!"

Tabbykit squealed with laughter as she felt herself being thrown into the air, squeals of her friends surrounding her.

Moonshine, one of the younger warriors, was tossing them up in the air, a fun game which Tabbykit and the rest clearly liked.

Moonshine was purring too, her pale amber gaze sparkling.

Oakkit just finished showing her around MoonClan camp and introducing the warriors to her while the others went to go annoy the deputy, Tropicaldancer, for the fun of it. Just now they all shared a meal, and went to go play with Moonshine.

...Best warrior ever!...

"Moonshine, what are you doing?!"

As Moonshine spun around, Tabbykit dropped to the ground. "OOF!"

The latest border patrol just arrived back, consisting of Ancientgem, Deadberry, and Moonshine's older brother Rockmoon.

"Playing a game with the kits." Replied Moonshine.

"That is NOT a game!" Rockmoon growled. "It is a death risk!"

Moonshine thrust her pale pink nose in the air, her face changing to a snotty expression. "The kits say it is. And they like it."

"They're just kits, Moonswine," Ancientgem snarled. "Can you think?-"

"Let me handle it, Ancientgem!" Deadberry snapped, then faced Moonshine. "A kit's body is fragile, and you must be careful. Play some Moss-Ball instead."

"They wouldn't like a boring game like moss-ball!"

"Oh really? You loved that game when YOU were a kit."

"Whatever! If you don't see how much these kits like ME instead of you boring rocks, then I'm going to go do something myself!"

She snorted in anger and trotted away.

"Have a nice day Noobshine," Ancientgem chuckled.

She and Deadberry headed for the Prey-Hole, while Rockmoon stood back.

"For the safety of you, I prefer you don't play with Moonshine anymore," he said.

"Why not? Her games are fun." Angelkit whimpered.

"Look...Moonshine isn't the brightest warrior. She's very immature for her age. Yes, she's young, but not too young."

"I don't think she's immature!" yelled Rainbowkit.

"You'll all understand when you are a little older...unless she's matured by then." He swerved away, his bushy tail tip waving in the distance.

There was silence, and the kits sat on the ground staring at each other.

"I'm bored," Redkit said.

"Me too," replied Angelkit.

"We all are," said Goldenkit. "I think it's getting late. We should go nap with our mothers." There seemed to be a flash of grief within the kit's icy blue eyes.

"Agreed." Said Oakkit, anguish in his voice as well.

Tabbykit wondered why, but she was too tired to think of anything. She followed her friends to the Nursery. "While we try to sleep, we should probably think of stuff we want to do tomorrow."

"Good idea," shuddered Angelkit.

Once they arrived, Tabbykit snuggled up in Silverpelt's pale fur. She didn't seem to notice and she realized her mother was already asleep. She watched as Angelkit and Redkit snuck under the fluffy white fur of Snowpelt, and Rainbowkit simply laid beside Wetstream.

But Oakkit and Goldenkit only bunched up in a small, leaf nest, and they shivered and chattered thier sharp teeth, clearly trying to use each other as warmth, but the cold chilly air got the best of them.
