"It is vital that you listen to what I have to say very carefully."

Leo said as he shuffled back into sight. He carried with him two rolls of paper, each covered in dust and yellowed with age. The papers were set down on the desk and unrolled, Leo pinning the corner of each one down with random objects on the table: A book, the candle-holder, a glass ball, a bowl of cat faeces and some other stuff of an unknown origin. He fingered (huehuehue) a cave on the map.

"That's your destination. From here-"

Leo paused as he pointed out the castle where the group currently were, in the corner of the page.

"You must travel along this route. Despite the cave being on the complete opposite side of this map there is actually no real distance between you and what you seek. Up until this point (Leo pointed to a spot roughly two-thirds of the way along the route) it's just an empty road, but once you reach that point u the going gets more difficult. The area from then on is littered with ravines, mountain passes, bandits and Gaben knows what else."

Leo stopped, allowing Tim and his friends to understand what was to be undertaken.

"Along the route at that point, you will also have to face the three guardians. Each guardian posesses a magical lock, each sealing one of the doors to the inside of the cave. Assuming you have collected the three keys from the fagmins you will be able to unlock each of them, therefore clearing the way to the modship. I wish you the best of luck dealing with them... They're not exactly characters that I would wish to encounter. Now if you'll excuse me, I've just shat myself."

Leo shuffled off back into the darkness as quickly as he had arrived, but this time with a slight waddle as he tried to avoid smearing the shit in his pants all over his bottom. Tim's attention was now drawn to the second map, which Leo had failed to explain before he left. It was evident that it was a zoomed in map of the area which Leo had described, and it provided a far more detailed view of what would be faced along the more difficult part of the route.

Bows and arrows signifying the known bandit camps were scattered all along the road, and signs for falling rocks and other dangers were just as common. Then there were three unique symbols off the path: the first was a single tear, the second a kind of combination between the male and female sex symbols, and the final was a steaming turd.

"Deyz must b da gardianz."

Lem pointed out.

"I have to say that I agree with you there, fine chap. Excellent deduction."

And so the group once again set off, this time towards their final destination with two shit-stained maps and a new companion in Princess Maria... they hadn't exactly said that she could join them, but her persistent flirting was rather amuzing. As the day drew to an end, only one thing was on Tim's mind: getting his hands on the modship. That letter... he didn't know where or who it had come from, but it had become his purpose.
