      August 10,2018. In the construction company.  
     Early in the morning I went to my boss and he went through the file.
"What is this?",
" I didn't meet our previous clients the Chinese, I went to the French ",
" I am so going to kill you ",
" before you do any thing look at the percent ",
" 90%,they gave us 90%,the Chinese doesn't go beyond 60%",
"And it's went smoothly because no rival could ever believe we will go to the French",
" oh my God,this cause for a celebration, infact you are promoted ",

"well I wanted to ask you some thing",
" ask me anything ",
" about the interns that are coming to work here,I would want you to pick one girl,she is really good, you would not regret it",

" Iyore Obaseki,sir",
"OK I will let the people who are in charge of the intern program know, so when she is in,I will let you know, Iyore Obaseki right",
" yes sir",
    I went back to my office and to my surprise Iyore was already here.
"Iyore good you are here,my boss told me when you get the job he would give me a call",
" you are telling me about that,I mean that is great but the meeting with your client,how did it go?",
"it went marvelous",
" wow this cause for a celebration ",
" don't pop any wine yet there would be a party in this company tonight and I would be picking you ",
Iyore shouted in excitement.
" that not all, I would be promoted ",
" oh my God,congratulations ",
" you are like my lucky charm",
"Oh please,you and God made this happen",
" I love you so much",
      Later that night I went to pick Iyore from her house,I saw the mode of Ella,immediately I came.
    "You are going out with him?", she asked.
" it's just for a company party",said Iyore.
"And he invited you",
" she was at the company and she is the reason there is a party",
" really,are you serious? ",
" I am, I should have invited you but you didn't come to mind",
"How would I come to mind when my sister is involved",
" excuse me",
"You know if you date him it would be an abomination", said Ella to Iyore.
" it's just a party ",
Iyore got into the car and I drove.
" what does she mean by dating me is an abomination?",
"Is just my sister and her talks",
" but...",
"Would that handsome guy be at the party?",
" which guy",
"The one I was talking to that day,that I was asking for directions",
" oh that guy he would be there,all the staff would be there",
"Cool I will get a chance to introduce myself to him",

We both laughed.
The party was great and Iyore spoke to the guy through out,she didn't recognized him at first,till I reminded her.
When I got home I thought about what Ella said and the more I thought about it,the more confusing it was.
     The next morning,was a Saturday,so I was relaxing at home when Iyore called me.
"Hello",
" hello please come to my house, it's some thing important ",
So I hurried to her house and when I came in every thing was ok ,Iyore was standing beside her younger brother and he was sitting down facing down wards.
" thank goodness you are here,please talk to him,I ask Obehi to talk to him but he refused, he said he talked to him before but he is not just smart",
"Talk to him about what?",
" he has a bully in the area,I will leave you two now",Iyore left.
"I am OK really, my sister shouldn't have bothered you", he said as he raised his head and I saw the bruises on his face.
Obebo Obaseki meaning one that has pure hands. He is a 16 years old boy,tall and handsome with dark libs and dark hair with a dark complexion, yes I know he is really dark but handsome. He is the last son and the last child of the Obaseki family.
I am really not good at giving talks since I am the last son of my father, so they usually gave me talks not the other way around.
"What happened to you?", I asked.
"Nothing", he said.
"But they are bruises all over your face,where you involved in a fight?", I asked.
"Something like that", he said.
"I guess the other guy got more bruises", I said.
"No... but in my defense there were more than one", he said.
I could understand immediately what this was. It wasn't a fight at all but a beating.
" Obebo I will tell you what my brother always tells me, a bully only bully's people who they considers less than them,try to be more than them and you would not be bullied any more",
"But how?",
" this was what I did".
I whispered into his ear.
After I have talked with Obebo I spent the remaining hours of the day with Iyore,we talked,laughed then Ella came home,she went for her photo shot.
"What is going on here?",she asked as she saw us laughing together.
" oh you are back Ella",
"Enough", she said rudely and walked away. I ran after her and drew her back.
" Leave me alone ",
" Ella I do not like your attitude ",
" don't you see,she wants to take you from me too",
"What do you mean too,has she taken some one from you before?",

"There is no buts,is Iyore you are taking about here,your sister, if I didn't know her,I would have believed you but I do,you need to stop this,and what is she taking from you, am not even yours yet",

"If you keep acting like this, I will never be yours",
" OK I am sorry, would you want a fruit juice ?",
"I would want that",
" why don't I get you a glass",
Few minutes later Ella came back.
"A glass of orange fruit juice like you want it",

"Let go to the balcony",
" OK",I followed her.
"So let play a game with this game we will be able to know each other a little, what do you think?",

"OK ,what is your favorite food?",

She started singing the song and dancing to it.
" OK that's enough my turn,my favorite food is...",
"Dodo(ripe plantain) and beans",she cut me short.
" OK my favorite colour is....",
"Blue", she cut me short again.
" how do you know all of these things no wonder why Iyore said...",

" well she said you knew where I worked,how do you know so much about me and I, none about you? ",
" why were you and Iyore talking about me?",
"Well it was because I met her at my company...",
" what was she doing in your company?",

" she came for her internship and we met there",

" when we were invited to have dinner in your house a long time ago and your mum prepared dodo(ripe plantain) and beans,she said it was your favorite ",
" and you remembered after all this time ",
" and when we had Christmas together, it was a big party and Osaro was wearing a blue gown,you told her that it was your favorite colour ",
" I never knew you listened",
"and when your sister came by the other day she said since you worked for this new big construction company, Adedoye construction company, she was going to suck you dry of your money and give it all to her new boyfriend",
" what???",I yelled.
"Oppp,I messed up",
" how long have you knew this ",
" a while now",
"And you didn't bother to tell me",

I left Ella's house and drove my car,while I drove my car,i called oghogho but it didn't go,so I called my mum.
"Mum where is oghogho?",
" I don't know,why are you asking",
"Mum how can you not know where your daughter is?",
" how can you not know where your sister is? ",
I went home and I waited for Oghogho and there was no sign of her,it was 7:30,when she later called me.
" hello bro",
"Hello Oghogho where are you?",
" so it's true then,you have been looking for me since morning, why?",
"Where are you?",
" I am in lixborr hostel in saponba road,why?",
"Wait there I am coming there",
" I am busy".
So I hurried out of the house and drove to Lixborr,I parked outside but as I parked I saw Iyore driving inside, I wondered If she came to see Oghogho, I will follow her to get to Oghogho.
So I followed her and I took a magazine I saw at the hostel to cover my face,I gave her some few meters away,so as she climbed the stairs I followed her, and we continued to walk up the stairs, until she got to a room and knocked on the door, I stood few meters away,I know where you are now Oghogho and you are so dead,I said to myself.
"Have you been waiting for long?",
" for few minutes but it seem like years",
They kissed,and he drew her inside the room and locked the door,yes it's a he,it's not Oghogho, it's Osahon, Osahon is cheating on Osaro with Iyore. I can't believe it,no way.
As I drove I remembered what Ella said to me.
"If you date him it would be an abomination",
" she wants to take you from me too",
"She is cunning but looks innocent",
I never knew what she meant until now.
I went home and I saw Oghogho.
"Hey",
" hey",
"You wanted to see me?",
" later",
"I thought it was important",
" it was. How come you are here?",
"I told I was busy,I left the hostel immediately I cut the call,and afterwards I came home",
" I went to the hostel to look for you ",
" why didn't you wait for me to get home? ",
" how was I suppose to know you will come home soon ",I yelled.
" OK do not yell at me",
"We will talk later".
I went to my room.
