Mum

       October 15,2018.
In my house. I and Osahon called our parents while Ella weaved Ore's hair, I called our mum while Osahon called our dad.
"Hello mum",
" dad",
"I need you badly,please come home now",
" dad you need to come home now ",
" I am really busy,call your dad ",
"Son next time I am in a really important meeting, ask your mum to help you out with whatever you want",
" mum it's you I want, you know it's more easier for me to talk to you than dad",
"Dad I said I need you, you wouldn't want a woman to help you out with man stuff,do you?",
" what exactly do you want? ",asked my dad.
" I can't tell you over the phone, come home ",
" alright, give me a few minutes ",they said.
Few minutes later.
Ore was at the window side,she looked through the window.
" they are here",she said.
I ran to the window and saw them arguing.
"Why are you here?", asked mum.
" I thought he couldn't call you? ", asked dad.
Osahon opened the door, stop arguing and come in.
" Osahon what is the meaning of this? ",asked Dad.
" when you come in I will explain ",
They came in and we told them about everything.
" you have a heart disease? ",asked mum.
" yes I do,I wanted to keep it a secret still when we have money so we wouldn't panic but this plan is better, if I knew you guys would be this intelligent I would have told you ",
" no you are still marrying Osaro ",said my mum to Osahon.
" why,we can save dad and still be rich",
"There is no need for that again honey,I now have the money for my operation and money to invest,we will soon leave the ground very soon",
" how soon, I do not what to wait,I do not like starting over's, I have started over before, how many times will I start over,I do not ever want to be poor again ",said mum.
" what do you mean mum?",asked Osahon.
"Mum have you been poor before?", I asked.
" yes when I was little I was very rich, I helped people, gave to the poor at a very young age but as soon as my father died, they stole his inheritance and left my mum and my siblings in the streets to suffer. They didn't care about us,we suffered more than the people we helped and when we went to beg the people who I once helped, then turned their backs on me, I suffered for so long until I grew up and met your dad, so I am not going back there again, I can't start over",
"Mum I am going to marry Ore whether you like it or not", said Osahon.
" mum we will not be as you were before, we are not that poor and in a couple of months we will be back again before anyone even notice ",I said.
     October 27,2018.
In my house, in the kitchen.
I rest my left hand on the kitchen's cabinet while facing mum and used the other hand to demonstrate.
" mum give it a rest already, it's been days,whether you approved or not Osahon will still get marriage to Ore,dad already approved, you are the one on the losing end here",
"You guys don't care about me,you all care about yourself",
" oh mum you know that that's not true", as I spoke to her,Ella came in,I noticed that she wasn't smiling.
"Good day ma", she greeted my mother and my mother answered her by nodding her head.
" excuse me",she said to my mum then turned towards me and gave me a shocking slap. My mum was shock as well because she didn't seem like some one who came to hit some one.
I was too confused to speak,I tried to talk but nothing came out.
"I will leave you guys to settle your issue", said my mum and she left.
" what was that for? ",I asked angrily.
" you only came to me because Osaro asked you to",
"Yes and I believed I have told you before",
" no you haven't,you told me you came to me because of Osaro not that she asked you ",
" it's the same thing",
"No it not".
       Few minutes ago at Ella's house.
Osaro drove in her compound and knocked on her door, Ella answered.
" and what are you doing here?",
"Do you know that Huemwenmwen doesn't love you?",
" you came all the way here to tell me that?",
"He is only with you because I asked him to, he never knew you existed,I shined the light to your direction, you see he was just dying over me,already following me around so I needed a diversion, and I saw how you loved him and he just didn't see you let alone love you back, so I asked him to go be with you, date you and if he likes marry you and you know what,of course you don't know, is there any thing you know, he said he was doing it for me,he was dating you for me, so now you know, Huemwenmwen doesn't love you, he just did what I asked him to do", said Osaro and she was about to leave but then I told her...
" yes maybe you asked him to be with me,thank you very much,I am really greatful because you are right if not for you I would still be the girl who loves some one and the person not loving her back but no because of you, my Hue fell in love with me and he is mine but I wouldn't say that about you",
"I do not love Huemwenmwen, I like him but I do not love him",
" I know I am not taking about Hue",
"Screw you", she said then left.
      Back to present time.
" so she said all that stuff to you ",
" how could you? ",
" Ella yes it is true at first she asked me to be with you, it is true I never looked at you but I have always noticed you, at the Christmas party I saw how you refused all the boys that asked you to dance with them that's why I didn't go close to you through out the party because I was afraid you will refuse me,at the dinner party in my house I saw how you starred at me all the time I thought you were awkward,I knew you were obsessed over me but I never knew I would be obsessed over you, I love you Ella, when Osaro told me to try to love you I never knew not trying would do the trick,it doesn't matter who asked me to be with you all that matters is that I am with you, that I am in love with you ",she rest on my chest and I put my hands over her.
October 28,2018.
At Osaro's house.
I came in and I saw her in the sitting room watching telemundu.
" I knew you will come back for me ",she said in a flirting way.
" what do you think you are doing? ",
" trying to be with you ",she got up from the chair and came closer to me slowly.
"Is that why you went to Ella?",
" is that why you are here? ",
" why else would I be here?",as she heard me she stopped walking and sat at the edge of the chair.
"You ruined my relationship and I ruined yours",
" well guest what,your plain did not work,I and Ella are fine,leave us the hell alone and your relationship was ruined from the beginning ",I said and left.
   I went home and I saw Osahon and Ore in the sitting room, Ore sat on Osahon's lab facing him.
" hi guys",
"Hi", they said.
Osahon was using his hand to tell Ore to get up.
" what?",asked Ore.
"My brother is here",
" so what",she puts her hands on his face.
"Honey we are not in a secret relationship anymore so I don't care who comes in,I am going to be doing anything I want because you are mine", she kissed him.
" I am out of here",I was going to my room when I heard my mum and my dad arguing.
"You are suppose to be in my side here", said mum.
" this isn't about sides,it's about what's right ",
" and you think being poor is right? ",
" I am going to be saved from my illness, that's right ",
" by the time our child marries Osaro you will be saved from your illness, you will get treatment ",
" all this while we were marriage I thought I knew you but now I am just realising that I was wrong ",
" right put it on me,you guys are the one who gang up against me...",

"Enough Woman",
"You care for just yourselves and not about me...",
"Stop nowwwww", said my dad as he held his chest.
" you...",she said as I cut her short.
"Mum", I yelled then she realised that dad wasn't OK but before the both of us could get to him,he collapsed.
