~CinderKit's POV~
"Wait for me, guys!" I mewed, racing out of the nursery after my siblings, MistyKit and FeatherKit.
It was a warm day, New-Leaf had arrived, and the ground was soggy from all the snow that had melted away. Our mother, SkyStar, sat in the entrance to the nursery, watching us with the deputy, and her mate, AshPelt.
Now, I'm fully aware that AshPelt isn't my father, because my mother, SkyStar, told me that my father is SmallTail, and MistyKit and FeatherKit's father was AshPelt, so we all know that we're only half-sisters, but I never understood why my mother took two mates. We'll never know, I guess. Oh well, I love my mother, and she's the LEADER!! I'm kin of the leader of ThunderClan!! I can't wait to be the next leader after her!! (Heheheh foreshadowinnnngggggg~~~)
~FeatherKit's POV~
Leaf-Bare has finally ended. It has felt like an eternity!! But at last, it's New-Leaf, and me and my sisters are running around the camp on the muddy ground, slipping and playing moss-ball. This is all I could ask for in my life.
While playing, something caught my ears, it... sounded like a growl? I turned and padded towards the camp entrance, and slid out. No one would notice, I'd be gone for a few seconds! I wish that were true...
The growling grew louder, and I heard loud paw steps coming towards me. Maybe it's my father, trying to scare me?
I keep padding forwards, the growling grows louder, then, all I see if a flash of black, white, and orange fur charging at me. 'FOX!!' I turn, about to run, but I feel teeth dig into my back, as it grabs a hold of me. I wail loudly, but not quick enough, as I feel a sharp pain in my back, and my vision goes dark...
~CinderKit's POV~
I hear a loud wail, and it's cut off by a snapping sound. I quickly run to the warriors den. "SmallTail!!" I cry. My father slips out of the den and looks at me, and I quickly explain the wail. He calls to AshPelt and CedarLeaf, and the three warriors charge out of the camp. Then I notice...
