We both slowly stood up while locking eyes the whole time. “ i-i-I’m y/n” I struggles to find the words. Calum bit his lip and said “nice to meet you” while slowly walking backwords.
What just happened? Did one of the hottest guys iv ever seen just check me out? I tried to keep the thought of his perfect dark brown eyes looking into mine as I walked down the hall to the lunch room. I made my way into the lunch room looking for Leah at one of the many tables set up. Usually there’s all the different groups of people sitting at different tables but at this school, your just kinda friends with everyone. No one was labeled as anything. Which was a bonus considering most schools don’t have it this way.
I saw Leah as she was waving insainly to get my attention. I slightly ran over there and sat down, “Soo, you’ll never guess who’s in my class.” “who?” “the new guy that you like!” “oh, I actually ran into him today on my way here. He seems nice.” “Ouu girll, ya gotta new crush?” “maybee”. After that I went up to get my food. I payed my way and on I went. As I was sliding my tray down I notices a fermilier face, Calum. “Oh hey” “Hey y/n” He did a half smile. “Do you have anyone to sit with, ya know since your new?” “no actually, I was just gonna sit outside.” “Well, do ya wanna come sit with me and my friend?” “Sure, why not.” He slightly laughed and we made our way to the table. Leah looked back with a wide eyed look on her face. I just smiled and say down.
We talked and laughed all lunch break getting to know Calum, as he got to know us. While I would talk to Leah I would always feel his eyes on me.
I could tell this was a start of an amazing friendship and maybe even, a relationship.
