We grabbed all the things we needed for the beach and walked down. We parked a little far away from the water so we had to walk a little bit. I didn’t mind, we got to see all the stores for later. As we made our way to the water I could smell the fresh air coming from the water and boy was I excited! “There’s an open spot over there!” I yelled as I ran. I heard Calum chuckle a little, pft. I put down my towel and sat there just looking up at Calum who was looking down at me. “what the hell are you looking at?” He says while laughing and moving his lip ring with his teeth. “Im waiting for you to get your shit on for swimming. Its hot!” “oh yeah! Aha I forgot.” He takes off his shirt and oh my lord this boy it perfect. Personally I think I died a little inside.

We run down to the water and of course, being the awkward person I am I fell as soon as I hit the water.  Fuck. I just kinda sat there until he came over and helped me up. He was laughing pretty hard and to be honest, so was i.  “lets forget that ever happened.” I said as I pushed back my hair into a messy bun. I put on my sunglasses and we swam out deeper into the water. Im pretty short so the water level rose quickly. Calum on the other hand, he could stand flat foot and still have half his body out of the water. I was treading the water and he saw how much I was struggling so he came over. He picked me up and put me on his shoulders as I screamed. “CALUM PUT ME DOWN OH MY LORD” “NEVERRR” He walked around I the water with me on his shoulders while laughing. “I SWEAR TO MOTHERFUCKING GOD I WILL HURT YOU” “and you think I care? I can take you any day.” “pft, put me down and we’ll see about that.” He put me down and we walked up a little bit up to where the water is to my mid thigh. “first one down wins.” Calum said while stretching. “alright, play on.” No one really made the first move, so I just went for it. I jumped on his back and he grabbed the back of my legs and spun around. “im not goin down this easily!” he yells as he sets me down in the water.  He sits down next to me and sighs. “whats wrong?” I said. He shakes his head and rubs his face with his hands. “I just don’t want this day to end.” I scooted beside him and put my head on his shoulder. “we still have the whole weekend!” “Yeah, I guess we do. We should go plan out the weekend. Race you up?” “Your on.” We get up and race to our towels and bags. I could feel the releaf from the hot sand as I landed on my towel. I pulled out my phone and texted my mom to say I was staying with Leah for the weekend. I could tell this was an amazing start to a weekend.
