Author's Note:
// Dedicated to @Awkward_Ballerina for being an over unicorn (you are one too @Crystail_Heart) and being the first friend I made in America. //
I forgot to mention @Crystail_Heart's phrase I used last chapter. Did you you spot it, Millie? And I used another one this chapter.

“We have to do something to beat Colette at her own game.”
“Like what?” Cameron huffs, still unsure about the idea.
“Like being popular!” I breathe, suddenly understanding where Sarai is going with this.
“Exactly.” She supports. “All Colette knows is popularity. Let’s show her what it’s like to be on the bottom.”
“And you’re going to just waltz in there with a whole new look and suddenly become popular?” Cameron raises his eyebrows in disbelief.
“Maybe that’s just what we’ll do!” Sarai exclaims excitedly, her eyes bright with excitement.
“Huh?” Cameron and I questioned in unison.
“Let’s go shopping!” She sang excitedly before clapping and squealing.
“No! You can’t make me!” I huffed like a stubborn 6-year-old.
“I can’t?” She quirked an eyebrow and I instantly knew saying that was a mistake. From the corner of my vision I saw Cameron smirking triumphantly. I stuck my tongue out childishly at him, but he only chuckled in response.
Here I was, thirty minutes later, at the mall. Curse my idea of getting payback.
“We need to be completely different, so that means changing quite a bit. We’re redoing our closets, wearing makeup, and getting a total makeover!” Sarai announced, checking our agenda off on her fingers. Behind us, Cameron skulked, dreading the prospect of holding all our bags.
“Woah, woah, woah,” I stopped her, flustered with the amount of change required. “I don’t remember signing up for all this.”
“On the contrary, my dear Shaymin.” She responded with a wink.

I was sat on a waiting chair in the mall hairdresser, biting my lip so hard I swore I was drawing blood. Beside me, Cameron was tracing swirls with his finger on my arm out of boredom.
Sarai was currently getting her makeover and Cam and I were waiting anxiously for the revelation. Well, me anyway.
Suddenly the hairdresser stepped out. “She’s done.” She proclaimed. Sarai being Sarai, she took a moment to come out for a dramatic entrance.
“Wow.” Cam whistled.
“Woah.” I gasped.
She had blondish highlights put in her long dark brown hair, which cascaded onto her shoulders in bouncy curls. “What do you think?” She declared, smiling until she was practically glowing.
“You look amazing!” I told her honestly as she spun around so I could completely see.
“Now it’s your turn.” She laughed with a sardonic grin.
How did I even get into this situation? That’s right, I wanted revenge on my ex-bestfriend.
“Well, I might as well just get it over with.” I mutter, standing up and walking over to the hairdresser.
