He reaches out blindly finding nothing but void. Waking up from some strange daze. He can't see, if there even was anything to see. He can feel blood covering himself, he's sitting in something sticky as well. He blinks rapidly several times with things slowly coming into vision.
Nerreza lie on the ground several yards away, he seems to be sitting in a combination of their blood. He looks down at himself, he's not looking too fortunate. He manages up to his feet and limps over to Nerreza. As he approaches he noticed large chunks and scratches along her. Then he looks up.
A large black spike gives straight up through her side. The fur on parts of her body seems to be falling out. There's no signs she's breathing, her eyes lay wide open and staring blankly ahead. It hits him all at once, he falls forwards.
He gets quick glimpses of the past few weeks, a constant struggle. Claws, spikes, teeth.
Crushing.
Slashing.
Tearing.
Using his ability to corrupt all organic matter instantly and collapse it into hell, but as this area had no way to escape strange things happened.
The corruption would begin to eat away and then explode on itself, sucking soul power into the oblivion. This is how he was able to keep Nerreza from escaping, but not enough to stop her from fighting.
But now he rests exhausted, on the verge of total collapse himself.
He remembers the claws tearing through his flesh like jelly. In that moment he had managed to use every ounce of strength left to create a spike that acts as a bubble barrier would. It shot through her and he fell unconscious.
Nerreza's head beings to move, he steps back. Her eyes eerily roll back to look at him as her neck turns. He just stares back into them.
"Strong my...child....." a few eyes blink. "What now, expecting your family may forgive you.....?"
He can't look away. Why can't he look away.
"Forgiveness does not exist to creatures as us." She struggles to move, pivoting on the spike.
"Forgiveness doesn't exist in....creatures like you." He steps back away from her.
She rips her body from the spike, tearing muscle and bone, blood leaking down violently, sheets of fur and tendons fall to the ground. A large chunk simply gone. She slowly approaches him.
"I now realize what I truly can do." A disturbing toothy grin. "Return one day you shall go me and forgiveness you will plead."
He becomes constricted by yellow claws that appear from their claws. "Again you shall be immortal."
The worst punishment of all.
Asmoday falls to the ground...there's nothing he can do to reverse it. She leaps forwards, there's a bright flash of light and she is knocked back.
"ENOUGH!" Crimsons voice echoes through the void. "Vortex take him somewhere safe."
She snatches him lightly in her mouth and void warps. Even without death, he still feels like a rag doll.
Vortex appears in a familiar space, she drops Asmoday to the ground, pool already starts to pool. Vortex looks to the co fused child beside the fluffy creature.
"I will return shortly." And she warps away before he could get a word in.
Asmoday lays on his back, glancing up at the child, who seems to be a combination of old friends.
And this is where this story ends.
