You've been ignoring Jimin for the past month. You weren't going to lie to yourself, you knew you missed him. Every time you went to school he would try to smile at you, but you pretend to not see him and walk away. A couple of days after that he began to stop. He didn't smile at you anymore. He just didn't try at all. You didn't know why you felt upset about it, you knew this was going to happen but you were just too stupid to even see what was happening.
Everyday you keep wondering to yourself if what he said was true. Did he really love you? Did he mean what he said that day?
These thoughts kept running through your head, constantly making your emotions go all over the place. What if he did mean it? What if he didn't?
You were so caught up in your thoughts that you let out a loud groan in the middle of class. Everyone stared at you, including Jimin.
"What the fuck is wrong with her?" You heard whispers around the class as your teacher cleared her throat.
"Is anything wrong?" She looked at you as your face turned red. You shook your head and continued to think about the whole Jimin situation.
Just as soon as you were about to ask yourself the same question you ask yourself everyday, the bell rang. You got out of your seat and put all of you stuff in your backpack.
You tried to rush to your third period but before you were about to run, someone grabbed your arm. You were hoping that it wasn't him, but sadly, it was.
"Can we please talk?" He asks desperately. You wanted to give him a chance. You still loved him and you wanted to know the truth. You nodded your head in agreement and he led you to the hallway where there were no people. At this point you didn't even care about being late to class.
"Look, I know what I did was stupid. I didn't mean to hurt you and I'm sorry. I really do love you. Even though you probably won't take me back, I still don't want to lose you. Can we at least stay friends if you're not willing to give me another chance?" His words seemed sincere and you believed him.
"I love you too, but I think we should just be friends for now." He was happy with your answer because one day he knew that he would eventually gain your trust back and he would be able to show you how much he loves you. He didn't want to hurt you, and he was willing to make you the happiest person ever. All he needed was another chance, and you gave it to him.
