He always tried to avoid you at school, but when you two were alone, he would rant about his whole life, nonstop rants about everything. Of course he would, you two are best friends. You just couldn't comprehend his actions when other people are with him. He couldn't even say hi-- no, he couldn't even look at you when you walk through the halls.

"Hi, Jimin!" You yell from the other side of the crosswalk.

Jimin was with his friends that he was constantly with. They just met two weeks ago, but they act like they've been knowing each other for years.

He saw you wave at him, but he just looked at you and walked away with his "clique."

Sixth period was finally finished so that meant school is over.

The worst part of the end of school is the crowded hallways. It was always crowded. People pushing each other to the floor. Sometimes people just look at them without even helping them up. Who am I to be talking? I laugh at people when they fall thinking, "Ha, glad that's not me."

I come home from school thirty minutes after it usually ends because I help out Mrs. Rhee. ( Maggie, I'll find you ) Mrs. Rhee is my biology teacher. I help her for extra credit-- well mostly because she spits out everybody's drama at school.

"So what's up with you and Jimin? I see that you two don't hang out as much as you did before? Anything wrong?"

"He ignores me school, but when he's no where near his friends he talks to me. It's stupid. He's stupid."

"Well why don't you talk to him about it?" Mrs. Rhee says in a concerned tone.

"Maybe I should. Mrs. Rhee, I'll help you with these papers tomorrow I have to go talk to Jimin."

"All right. See you tomorrow. Hey, don't forget to study for that quiz tomorrow!"

You walk to the park and texted Jimin, telling him to come and meet you.

Ten minutes passed and you're still at the park, waiting for someone who's probably embarrassed to be seen with you.

Another ten minutes passed and you see him walking towards you.

"What's up?"

"Have you been ignoring me at school?"

"What makes you think that?"

He sounded irritated. Like he wasn't even interested in the other things you had to say to him.

"Well when I said hi to you, you just looked at me and walked away."

"I didn't see you."

Sure. You didn't see me.

"You looked at me and ignored me. Didn't even bother saying hi back or at least wave to me."

"Well maybe it's because I don't want to be seen with you."

That only hurt 80 percent of me because I kind of knew he was trying to ignore me. I mean a part of me was hoping that it wasn't true, but it was.

"Why not, Jimin?"

"Because you're not really the person I should be seen with."

"Fine."

You grasped and pulled the necklace that he gave you and placed it in his hand.

It was a necklace symbolizing your friendship. He gave it to you because there was a time when one of his friends said that Jimin will eventually give up on you. He wanted to make you feel better so he gave you that necklace. It had a 'J' on it, which stands for Jimin.

The guys was right. He would eventually give up on your friendship . Being the stubborn person you are you didn't believe the guy because you had trust in your best friend.

"Look, you know I didn't mean it like that."

"Yea, Jimin. I know exactly what you meant."

You stood up from the bench you both were sitting on and walked home.

You didn't need him. He was just another person who was keeping you down from the things you wanted to accomplish.
