Chapter 2

You sat on the pillow as Mami starts to serve you cake, along with Homura and Madoka of course "Before we continue I would like to ask you something" Kyubey faces you while exclaiming your name at the end of his sentence.

"How are you able to see me?" he asks, tilting his head and kept his emotion the same

"Um, is that wrong?" you ask the question back with your eyebrows raised a bit

"Usually I let those who had potential to perceive me, but I sense no potential within you (and you are the first male to ever do so) you are very strange"

"Maybe i'm just not most people" you answers whilst eating the cake and closing your eyes

"So, Kaname-san, you're fighting things like that all the time?" Homura nervously ask

"Not really all the time.... Mami is the Vetera-"

You listened to their conversation and you remember each line like you've been there before, you felt like re-watching Madoka Magica again but real this time, you still have question as to why, why would you appear here? Where witches and magic exists? Is there a big purpose?

Then you realized something, they were talking about Walpurgis night in a bit detailed now about how it's a festival of the magic world, but you know that it's the strongest Witch to have ever existed that more than one Magical Girl needs to handle it. So what does a festival have anything to do with the Witch? Does that mean the mere presence of her made some sort of 'magic party'? well the Witch does create a supercell cloud...

Madoka then apologizes to Homura for putting a magic on her during Physical Education "Yes, I'm really sorry. You were so depressed, so I thought id cheer you up with some magic, but it didn't really work"

"Well, you should think it in a long term Kaname-san" you advices her playfully, indicated by your sudden smile of mild amusement

"Thank you, Kaname-san" Homura suddenly said that to which makes both you and Madoka curious. You looking at her like that made her a bit blushed and looks away as you did the same thing, taking a mental question on why you two haven't get close even if you two are new students.

"When my legs wouldn't stop moving, I'm worried on what should I do, but when I jumped really high, it really makes me so happy, so... thank you" she explain her gratefulness.

"Homura-chan" After Madoka says her name, she continues "When you become a Magical Girl, you bring happiness to people in all sorts of different places"

"Yeah, that's right why don't you become a Magical Girl too? Homura-chan?" this question widens her eyes.

"Can someone just become a Magical Girl like that?" she then nods and faces Kyubey for his explanation before you suddenly, out of nowhere says.

"But.." loudly that the rest of the characters looks at you

You pause for a moment before "What is it?" Madoka asks with your last name as you continues on what you're about to say

"But is there some sort of cost? I mean, it can't be that simple. The world doesn't works like that especially towards something mind blowing like magic and witches" you stated putting a confident mask on your face, still have some awkward attachment now that the anime characters is real.

"Well I grant the wishes of humans in exchange for contract that you worked for me as a Magical Girl, I think it is simple enough trade for you" Kyubey explains but Mami seems to agree with you as she exclaims your last name together with her opinion on the matter

"Right Becoming a Magical Girl means to give up all possibilities of living in a normal life, it means bearing the duty of hunting down witches. And no one knows when will it end"
