How do you tell you best friend that you don't want to get your toes and nails done, get your face covered in green shit, and talk about America's latest top model?
When it comes to Kenzie, you can't. At least I'm not being tortured alone. Half of the cheer team is here in Jen's Cute-tiuqe in the middle of the mall. We're all in those big white chairs as the employes worked to make us perfect for our Homecoming. And of course, Kenzie was just going on about the new celebrity gossip.
"Everyone keeps talking about this Zac Efron vs. James Franco thing and most people are going for Zac, but I think they should give James a chance", over dramatic gasp,"and did anyone hear that Angelina Jolie might have cancer and she's taking drugs, too. Plus Brad-"
Cassie politely put up her hand to Kenzie, silently telling to just shut the fuck up. Can you really tell someone to do that politely? "Kenize, as much as we would love to hear about Jolie's problem, my problem right now is not knowing who's going to Homecoming with who."
Kenzie's hand a smile plastered on her face that went from one ear to the next. "Well..."
I just stopped her right there. "Kenzie we know, everyone in school knows, and with the major PDA you two do, I'm pretty sure the world knows."
"Anywhore", Kabria intervened, "I am going with Jaylon. He asked me after the game and I am freaking the hell out because he is so hot."
"Aww, Kabria has the first date jitters", Kiki teased.
Alejandra spoke up for the first time. "And who are you going with, little Kiwi? Oh wait, let me guess, Noah asked you, for the fifth time."
"And for the fifth time I said no. I'm going with me, myself, and I. I don't need any boy to be drooling on me like I'm the last piece of meat." Kiki said.
"What about you Emma?"
Cassie hit me with those words quick. She knows Several people asked, she just didn't know that I said no to all of them.
Before I could even opened my mouth to defend myself, Kenzie got to it first acting like the blonde she is.
"Who remembers that bitch from last night?", she asked acting like she wasn't even paying attention to the conversation we were just having. Sometimes you just gotta love her.
Cassie put a disgusted look on her face just from the thought of Danni, and completely forgetting about me. "I hate that Mexican whore."
"Cassie that's the same thing you called her that made her mad in the first place", I informed her.
"Why was she even mad? I called her what she is.",Cassie stated like it was no big deal, but the look on Alejandra's face said something else.
"Cassie, she was mad at you for calling her Mexican because she's not. She's Dominican."
"Really", Kabria asked, "Well, it was just a mistake. Why was she so mad?"
"Long story short, they worked really hard to get where they are now and it's make them pretty angry when you mistaken their origin. That actually goes for almost any Spanish speaking culture."
Cassie looked kind of embarrassed but she wasn't going to give up her pride for that.
"She still did have to be a bitch about it."
Although the conversation was done and Kenzie went on talking about the newest Vince Comoto perfumes, I could still see by the look on Alejandra's face that see was thinking hard. Probably about the conversation that we and just a few minutes ago.
It didn't take an investigation to see that she wasn't from an American descendant. I always thought that see was Mexican.
I ignore what ever the girls are talking about and move my head to the side to talk to her.
