"Yo, what are you doing?! I swear to god, if we're late for this-" "we're not going to be late, calm down!" I yelled down to my friend, Joshua. I was in the upstairs washroom, trying to make myself look at least half decent. Then again, we were going to a party. Half the people there will look like crap once their drunk anyways. Right, my names Chase. My hazel hues peered into the mirror, running my hand through my black locks. Dang it, I should've been outside more.. I barely have a tan, still as pale as always. Whatever, doesn't matter now. I took one last look at myself in the mirror before running downstairs to see Joshua standing there, arms crossed, and a frustrated expression. "Oh come on, let's just go," I said.
We hopped into Joshua's car then drove off the the 'party house.' It was quite the big house. Bigger the house, bigger the party. I have to admit, I'm not the biggest partier. That doesn't mean I don't like them, though. Just gets too loud and crowded with sweaty drunk bodies. Y'know.. It's not the best. "Try an get a girlfriend tonight." Joshua said, elbowing me lightly on the arm as we got to the door. I simply blushed slightly, looking away. "I don't need one," I said. No, I didn't need one. But I kind of wanted one, truthfully. The door was opened by Drew, quickly letting us in. He said something to us, but I couldn't really hear it over the loud music.
Before I knew it, Joshua ditched me for some girl he's all over. So, I was left alone in a room full of people. I looked around, everyone was pretty much already drunk and dancing, other than two random guys in the corner. Whatever, might as well get drunk. What else was there to do? Goddamn, I always get bored, no matter what.
Further in the night, as it got dark, flashing lights enlightened the room. And as the night went on, I got more and more drunk, dancing with people I didn't even know.
Then, I saw her through the flashing lights, from every second I got to see her before the light disappeared, I thought she was beautiful. She was dancing with what seemed with her friends, a huge smile spread across her face. Not even a care in the world.
But why was she here? Why was I here? I've completely forgotten. Am I drunk? My head is pounding, or maybe it's just the booming beat of the music. It's hot in here, there's too many people. Oh right, I'm at a party. And now I'm sobering up. I hoped to drink away my boring life, but I guess I didn't drink enough. And now I'm staring hopelessly at this girl I don't even know.
I try to ignore it, thinking it's only the alchohol. But I don't ignore it. My legs guide my body, as I walk closer and closer towards this girl. They notice me coming, and all stop dancing to giggle, except for her. She almost seems like she doesn't want me to come over.
There I was, right in front of her. She looked even more beautiful up close. "Heeyy ladies~ what's up?" I asked, licking my lips as I looked her up and down. "Probably something in your pants that we don't want," she responded. Damn, I wish I wasn't drunk. She crossed her arms, her friends applauding her for the good comeback.
I take another moment to look at her. Dark brown hair, brown eyes, freckles along her nose and cheeks. No, she wasn't the tallest, or the skinniest. But it was absolutely astonishing, I couldn't take my eyes off of her.
Then I notice I'm standing there randomly, as the girls (including her) ignore me and start to dance again. And of course, my stupid drunk ass wasn't going to give up that quickly. I grabbed her arm, making her look my way, and kissed her spot on the lips.
