"Dad?"

My eyes slowly open to a narrow view to see the blurry outline of my son, jumping to his feet from a cushioned seat at the end of the white bed covers.
"Jug?" I jump up slightly looking around the place in which I find myself.
"Dad," He takes my shoulder, "it's okay! Alice told me what happened."
"What?" I say through a forced breath. What actually happened, I have no memory.
"You don't remember, do you?"
"I'm afraid not, son," he stares at me with small tears building up in his eyes, but before he can answer me with an explanation, a familiar voice enters the doorway.
"It's okay, Jughead, I'll tell him."
"Are you sure? I don't want you to have to relive anything."
"Trust me it's fine," she enters the room, her hair a wavy mess and her clothes dried with dark blood; her mascara is dried on her cheeks and her eyes are weary and tired.
"Alice?" I jump again from the rested position Jughead had laid me in.
"FP," she acts the exact same way as Jug, trying to lay me down, but this time I resist and sit up in the covers.
"I'm fine, Alice," I reassure her, "can you give us a minute son?" I look past her to Jug, as he is already making his way to the door.
"Don't worry, dad," he smiles slightly, "I'll go and get you some stuff from the trailer."
"Thank you, son."

My eyes now avert to Alice. She perches herself on the same chair Jughead sat on. Her face is full of hate and sadness, so I move my body to the other side of the bed and pat the empty covers. She laughs at me being childish and I smile back at her. She's so beautiful. With that, she stands once more and sits herself daintily on the side of the bed, next to me. Her warmth is comforting and reassuring.
"I'm sorry, FP," She apologises randomly, pulling me from admiring her.
"What for?" As soon as I open my mouth I know it was something bad, as she throws her hands in the air and tears begin to stretch down her pale skin.
"For Hal! I-I don't know what he is! I'm so sorry for what he did and I'm just so sorry!" She repeats continuously.
"Alice, Alice," I try to break her from this random state of apologising; she ignores and continues her blubbering, "ALI!" I yell and she stops immediately. Her face slowly turns to me and I look at her, concerned. "Alli, I don't care what happened! Your safe, I'm safe! Everything is just perfect!" She smiles and laughs through her nervous tears.
"Okay," she breathes, "well as long as your okay, I guess I better get some food for Betty. She won't leave Toni," she rolls her eyes as she raises from my side and I frown, but then realise what she's doing. She's dropping hints.

She moved closer to the door, slowly.

"Wait!"

I stand from my bed, nothing attached to me but an injury. The pain in my side shoots like needles up my body and my legs fall to limp towards her.
"FP, you shouldn't be out of tha-"
"Please Alice," I frame her face with her hands and stroke the blonde hairs away from her face, "relax." I smirk before kissing her, she cries with soft tears as she kisses me back. We pull away and I look at her tired face and giggle. Her forehead presses on mine and she giggles too. "I missed you, Ali."
"I missed you, FP."

T O N I T O P A Z

Betty seriously needs to tell someone else about this pregnancy. She can't keep it a secret I mean she hasn't even told her own mother, yet she's told me? Really? I've known her for a few days and she's already trusting me with everything, even when we all tried to kill her! I think she's too soft.

"Betty?" I turn to her rested body, reading one of the many magazines now covering my bed.
"Yep," she looks up towards me, smiling.
"Betty, I think you need to tell someone else about this too, yanno?" Her face drops and she closes the magazine, placing back into the scattered pile, unorganised on the covers.
"I know, but I- I just don't know who to tell,"
"Jughead!" I blurt out, "he's the dad! He should know!"
"But what if he hates me for it?"
"Why would he hate you?"
"I don't know! He's been a little awkward and I'm scared- scared he won't love me anymore."
"Betty," I touch her hand and stare at her, "you haven't seen him without you. He's broken. He's gone without you. I spent months with him like that. I swear to you, he loves you."
She smiles and small tears begin to drain from her blue eyes. I smile back at her and laugh slightly.

Right at that moment, the loud sound of boots enter through the door.
"Speak of the devil," I smile as Jughead walks through the door.
"You guys have been talking about me? Gosh!" He acts stupid walking into the room. I raise my eyebrows at Betty and nudge her. She jumps,
"Erm, Jughead, can I talk to you?" She says quietly.
"Well, sure," he says in the same position, perching himself on the corner of my bed. Betty looks at me, nervously, and I move my eyes to signal Betty towards him. With that, she smiles and moves to sit next to him. I open up a magazine, to look as if I'm not stalking! Wait, what is this even about?

"So, what's up?" Jughead looks just as nervous as she does,
"Well, when yanno, we weren't getting along, you know, like a few months ago, around that time, I don't exactly know when but like around then I think so I mean-" I did my foot into Betty's back to stop her from blabbering. She snaps her head around at me and I laugh and apologise, signalling her to hurry up with my eyes. "Jug, I'm pregnant!"
"What?" His face grows surprised, not super happy, but not super upset either. I never know weather to trust Jughead's facial expressions anyway.
"I'm sorry, I knew you would react this way and I didn't know how to-"
"You mean," he interrupts her, "you mean I'm gonna be a dad," His face lights up and he holds her hand smiling at her. Small tears fall down her face and she smiles just like him.
"Your not upset?" She questions.
"Why would I be? I'm going to be a parent with the," He pauses and looks at me, his face glowing, "the girl I love." He takes the side of her face with his rough hand and kisses her.

They're so sweet together, I mean, I'm so happy for them. They deserve to be happy together, forever.
"Anyway," Jughead continues, smiling, "I actually came in here to ask you guys if you need anything. I'm going out to get my dad some stuff from the trailer?"
"Is your dad okay?" I jump.
"He's fine, I'll tell you everything when I come back."
"Well I'll come with you if you want?" Betty stands up to him too, "if that's okay with you, Toni?" She looks back to me concerned.
"That's perfectly fine, your gonna spend enough time in a hospital soon enough," everyone in the room giggles, "so go ahead! But god can someone please get me a decent drink for here because I'm not drinking hospital water for much longer before I actually murder someone," I laugh and Jughead nods.

As they exit the room, Betty swings Jughead's arm around her shoulder and they exit together. I pick up a decent magazine from the music pile I had organised and began reading the section on the new artists.

Suddenly, I hear the loud footsteps of heels and see a figure of red leather enter the room. God it's like one person after another!

Cheryl moves the strands of hair from her face and leans on the doorframe.

"Toni," I jump up to her nervous tone, "can I speak to you?"
