"Jinjja" (Really?)

(Jimin POV)

"What's taking the others so loooong?" Taehyung whines. I shake my head at this boy. So impatient.

"They literally left 10 minutes ago, give them a chance," I scoff. Taehyung seems taken aback, but I don't know what he was expecting from me. 

"Okay." is his bland reply, before he turns his attention to something on his phone. I sigh.

The others return with ice-cream about 2 minutes later.

"Sorry, the line was long..." Says Namjoon hyung, before giving me an orange coloured cone. After tasting it, I realise it is mango flavour. Interestingly enough, I never tried this flavour before and it is actually nice.

"Guys! We saw Minji noona at the ice-cream place." Jungkook breaks the silence.

"Oh really?" Taehyung seems overly interested in the matter. To be honest, I could care less about a random girl at the beach. After all, there are so many other beauties walking around looking hella fine.

"Yeah! She was having ice-cream with her date!" Giggles the maknae. What a child...

Wait, did he say date? Hmmm, I wonder who the unlucky guy is?

"What do you mean date?" Tae asks, He seems to have deflated a bit from his previous excitement. 

"Err, I'm not sure actually, it was a little boy, perhaps 3 years old?" Namjoon hyung answers.

What? Why would she be with a child? Whatever Jimin! Why do you care?

"That's weird..." Tae mumbles, before Suga hyung adds "Not really, it could be her family member or someone else, we don't exactly know much regarding this situation. For all we know, she could be babysitting as a side job!" he jokes.

"Perhaps..." says Jin hyung before we all go back to silently eating.

(Minji POV)

"I'm so sorry Jieun! There was so much traff..." I stop my rambling when I see her tear stained face.

Placing a sleeping Minho on her couch, I proceed to hug my best friend. I let her sob on me for a while, as I comfort her to the best of my ability. Rubbing her back and 'shh'-ing her.

Once she is calm, I ask her "What happened Jieun-ah..."

"Y-you k-know I love y-you a l-lot right?" She hiccups whilst trying to speak to me.

"Of course Jieun-ah! You're my best friend." I say, now silently sobbing along with her.

"M-my family is moving t-to C-canada..." she tightly hugs me. I feel my heart sink, already knowing where this is heading.

"I-I have t-to go with t-them M-minji-yah..." she cries out. I hug my best friend tighter.

"Shhh, it's okay. I know how your parents have been struggling...

"You try to hide it from me Jieun-ah, but I know you too well

"Unfortunately, this may be the only way to help uncle and auntie, but I'm more than happy for you guys because it's all gonna get better." I tell her. This foolish girl! Of course I know her better than anyone! 

Ever since last year, her family have been struggling. Her father suddenly falling ill was a shock to us all as he was super healthy his whole life. Unfortunately, cancer doesn't care about any of its victims. So he got progressively worse, and I'm sure they are going to Canada to get the best treatment for him. Of course I will support them going away no matter what. Uncle is a father figure to me, so I'm happy for them.
