Chapter 12

'Arraseo'

Minji was hit with nerves the next morning when she knew she would be facing the consequences of hiding the biggest part of her life. She just hoped that Bangtan didn't resent her and wouldn't suddenly behave differently around her.

Minji sighs, turning to her son before getting him out of his car seat. "Come baba, we are going in to eomma's workplace today and you will see the hyung from yesterday maybe!"

He beams at his mother, "Eomma that hyung nice, I love Yellowy!" he hugs said figure to his chest.

"Arraseo, let's go in okay..." Minji sighs again, feeling contradictory to her words.

She doesn't want to go in, but she has to tell Mr Bang about her situation and introduce Minho to him today before she begins the next day.

She holds Minho close to her chest, hiding his little face to prevent him from getting overwhelmed in the busy building. He simply holds her in comfort, allowing his mother to take him to her office.

Minji types her pass code in, hanging her coat on the back of her chair and taking Minho's hand once again to guide him to her desk.

"This is eomma's desk baby. Look there are pictures of you!" Minji shows her son enthusiastically.

"Wow! Eomma me and you!" Minho points at the photos in excitement.

Minji is smiling until her office phone rings, she knows it must be her boss.

She reluctantly picks up, "Yeobuseyo?"

"Minji darling, please make your way to Mr Bang's office." Is all that is said before the line cuts.

Minji turns to her little angel, "Come on Minho, time to go and see Eomma's boss!"

Minho snuggles into his mother's chest again as she carries him to the lift to get to floor 9. She hesitantly knocks on the door, entering slowly once hearing a "Come in."

Minji was not expecting the seven other handsome beings to also be present during this meeting, but it seems she has no say in the situation at the moment. She greets her boss, the CEO of the company she has just joined.

Minho keeps his face in his mother's chest, nervous to look up.

(Minji POV)

"So, Minji-sshi, you're here to discuss your role as the new head make-up artist and stylist of Bangtan, yes?" Mr Bang asks, glancing at Minho.

"Yes sir, but I have a request sir," I reply.

He nods at me, "Feel free to ask..."

"I er," I clear my throat, feeling butterflies in my stomach from the intense stares coming in my direction.

"This is my son, Song Minho, baby say hi to Mr Bang." I nudge him gently.

He lifts his face, "Annyeong Mr Bang!" he says quickly, before hiding again. I can't help but laugh at his adorable behaviour.

Luckily for me, Mr Bang finds this amusing and lets out a chuckle. "Annyeong Minho!" he smiles at Minho then turns to me, "So what brings Minho to my office today?" he smiles.

"Well, I was wondering if I could ask for a favour, if it wasn't too much hassle..." I mumble.

"Minji-sshi, I took you onto our team, knowing that you were the best at your previous company, and moreover, I have heard that you have a unique bond with the boys, which is why I want you to work in my company. That being said, I treat my employees with as much respect and friendliness as I can within limit, so please express your worries freely..." he says, making my heart soar in relief.
