P R E F E R E N C E S LIKES – - Her favorite place to be is hidden in the corner of the House of the Gold, tucked into a tiny nook with a blanket and a rune or subject book under her nose, preferably while it's storming and rain is touching down on the window. – - She enjoys- ironically- being surrounded by the other young heroes in the sanctuary, rather feeling safe and protected when she hears loud arguments in the living room and laughter down the halls-their happiness means all is well. – - Cooperating and learning alongside of her older brother, specifically so when it comes to their reliance on each other's abilities; he is, quite obviously, her most trusted companion. DISLIKES – - Her abilities- despite it being the reason she is living in the House of the Gold in the first place- she feels the future's possibilities to be the worst of all burdens, especially when they tie her to specific silence. – - She, herself, loathes sparring with other members of the sanctuary, because unlike the rest, she finds herself at a major disadvantage when fighting- hence her disguised interest in different aspects of time manipulation magic. – - Being unable to fully fit in with the others in the House of the Gold, often purposefully putting herself in the blind spots of attention in hopes of being unnoticed. C O N N E C T I O N S FAMILY – - Her older brother, Maurice Artinez, the future manipulator. FRIENDS – - She doesn't have very many friends other than her older brother as of this moment, due to major seclusion and introverted tendencies. E S S E N T I A L S PERSONALITY – - To describe Linsey from the outside looking in would be rather difficult, as she is anything but simple- a rather riddle, most see her as extremely shy and secluded, considering her very quiet and gentle nature. She is a very intellectual girl who focuses on studying her environment and all outcomes of her actions and notions- although she can be overthoughtful and introverted, she is rather passionate and kind once having broken her barriers. OCCUPATION – - Hero, in a way of putting it- though she often prefers not to think herself the same caliber as the others. BACKSTORY – - Her entire life has seemed like an awful dance with time- constantly moving forward and constantly changing in rhythm. Since she was a young girl, she was quick to learn that although the clock was ticking down the seconds to the future, it owed no one the privilege of knowing what would be to come next, she would witness firsthand this truth as soon as her ability began to develop. Although Maurice was able to manipulate the fabric of time personally, Linsey was born with a different inclination- something resembling extreme precognition; if she willed it, she could view the future and all of its possible outcomes- from the most probable to the most extreme- she would see each and every derivation, sometimes falling unconscious or overexhausted due to a particularly disturbing pattern. The worst part? No matter what she saw, no matter how mortal the terror could be- she can't indicate the intricacies of the future's course, as doing so would mess with the fabric of time itself, and she could be the cause of its undoing. It was an awful burden to carry, and as such, a large responsibility to share- lending herself as a member in the House of the Gold least understood, purposely not getting too close with a single hero, preferring to keep to herself, speaking only intimately to her brother if things got too out of hand. Linsey, preferring not to talk about her ability at any given moment, remains inclined not to tell all of its nature, instead carefully guiding the group's actions without slipping her tongue. Every time the battle gets more out of the hand, the more she worries she will find a future she can't find any second possibility to prevent. • This character is completely attributed to seremndipity in their 'Young Gods' role play book!•
